I had a wonderful holiday at Atrium Platinum Luxury Resort and Spa. True indulgent luxury and so much fun. The most delightful was all the kind the staff. Rooms are impeccable, very clean (thank you to the housekeeping team who were super efficient), all that you need is provided (except fresh milk mini-carton if you prefer milk in your tea/coffee rather than cream in the minibar). The views from the rooms are spectacular. I had a Deluxe room with private pool. It was amazing. It was quiet and private. I had incredible sunsets. However given the time of the year I had to wait until about noon to get the sun on the balcony (end October 2024, which was helped when the clocks changed as the sun came sooner). I had sunshine throughout the whole week I was there. Very little wind if any. The food in the various restaurants was really incredible, very fresh, tasty, beautifully presented and lots to choose from. Bravo to all the chefs and their teams working so hard in the background to make any dining experience extra special. I was on the AI, so I was able to also sample many of the local and Greek wines, some of them fantastic. It would have been nice to have some kind of rose sparkling on the AI as well. The café freddo (espresso or cappuccino) was great, especially when it was hot during the day. You have all kinds of hot and cold soft beverages, I found the various teas also very good. All local. There is a beautiful lobby with the main restaurant and main bar on the same floor (8th floor), with breath-taking views towards the sea and sunset. Lovely place to have an after dinner cocktail and get to talk to other guests. Sometimes there was live music too, which was nice. The bar team were fabulous. I would recommend to the management to create a terrace outside the lobby bar and also consider the possibility to create an outside area to dine from the main restaurant. I was told it gets windy and this is the reason there is no outdoor space at that level but I think they are working on the idea. I loved the spa facilities (although the steam room is due to be repaired and wasn’t working), all under the excellent care of Lynette. There is a very nice indoor swimming pool with various massage jets for different parts of the body, including your feet, legs, back and neck. In the middle there is a warm Jacuzzi, so relaxing. There is a nice small sauna, it was a real treat. I loved the yoga session I did with Agatha. Thank you! I never had time to try a massage but will endeavour to next time. The treatment rooms looked lovely and relaxing when I had a sneak peak. Also you have a beautiful walk to Rhodes Old Town along the sea from the hotel. I took a taxi to the town and walked back. It was so beautiful and I thoroughly recommend it. There are little private beaches dotted along the pedestrian path separate from the road, so it’s very peaceful. I didn’t get the chance to hire a car to visit the island but there are many sights and places to vi
