This is probably the best hotel chain (affordable) in Japan. Toyoko Inn's service is incredible. They provided assistance to the nearest car park , as well as provide free parking for guests (if you are early). The free breakfast at the hotel is restaruant level! Highly reccomended! Whenever you see Toyoko Inn, just book it. Nothing will go wrong.

Excellent hotel a very short walk from the JR station. There is an onsen (Ranpu no Yu) 5min walk from the hotel. Compact room but everything you need in there. Great base from which to explore the city and the bus to Izumo Taisha is right there at the JR/bus station making it super convenient.

Just right in front of the JR train and bus station, very convenient, room is normal.

A very good hotel, about two or three minutes walk from JR. Parking lots are very popular. It is recommended to return to the hotel early to have parking spaces.

Just next to the station

Just opposite Izumo-shi JR station and walk 3-5 mins from Izumo-shi dentetsu station. Super easy to check in and check out. I used the machine there. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent, right across from Izumo Station. They also offer affordable rates during the "God is in the Moon" period. Even the smoking rooms are smoke-free. The only downside was that I found some clothes I'd left in the room after checking out, but the hotel said they couldn't find them after I asked twice. :(

The location is great, right by the station, and the breakfast options are decent. However, the rooms are really small, and the toilet is tiny too. The air conditioner is extremely noisy, and even after reporting it for repair, nothing has changed. I won't stay here next time I'm on a business trip; I heard that Shuangye next door is better.

The soundproofing was terrible. I could hear everything the neighbors did and the shower water upstairs. There were also many noise sources in the room: the air conditioner, the clock, the refrigerator—all of which combined to make for a awful night. I was woken up at 2 AM by the shower water upstairs, but thankfully I was exhausted and fell back asleep quickly. I can't imagine how someone with light sleep would feel in this environment. Disposable slippers cost 60 yen a pair… Are you really that short of money? And you're recommending a membership card?? Who wants to be a member? Breakfast was free, but I didn't eat it. Even though the pandemic has been going on for years, there are still partitions on the table—it's not a proper place to eat. Forget it, I shouldn't have had any illusions about Toyoko.

The chain's quality is quite consistent. I first explored Matsue, then took the tram directly to Izumo Station. This hotel is a 5-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient; the environment is quiet, and the facilities are complete. There's plenty of food and shopping nearby, and buses right outside the door take you to Taisha Shrine, museums, and the airport in just half an hour. There's also a direct tram ride to Shinjiko Onsen.

駅近朝ごはん付き、基礎化粧品ありでありがたいのですが、隣の部屋の水回りの音が丸聞こえ。目覚ましの音も聞こえてきました。部屋の掛け時計も秒針の音が鳴るタイプでした。音に敏感な方はゆっくりできないです。
