Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville

The hotel was exactly what we expected in Hilton Garden Inn. We used the digital key, found our to be ready for us and very clean. We were only spending one night, but it was a pleasant stay. One thing I would want to point out was the lack of mobile luggage racks. Being in our 70’s and no available mobile luggage racks, it made it difficult to carry all of our stuff to the 5th floor.

stayed here early this month for about a week, started out okay, they were friendly. when i got to my room the floors were sticky, i wiped them down with a couple of hand towels they got nasty. i was going to ignore it because i needed the room, then a couple days later i found black mold in the bathroom shower, i asked for another room and the staff was very happy to help, but there was MORE black mold in the new room then the old room, i asked for another different room and they had someone to go clean it before i went there, which I'm grateful for, but you could still tell there was mold in the shower before it was wiped. I'm almost 100% sure each and every room has black mold in the shower. i tried to contact them about getting a discount or refund, mostly just so they could get a handle on the mold, but it's been about a week now and no response back. i have pictures of everything.

Anila was wonderful and so welcoming from the minute we arrived. We enjoyed meeting Mark and Jen at the bar as well. Truly can't say enough great things about these folks. Areas for improvement or suggestions: 1) Clean the laundry area -- machines need to be cleaned and the entire room needs dusting and vacuuming --- THANK YOU Anila for allowing us to us this space prior to our room being available 2) Understand the shuffle between the bar ownership and such, but it was a bit inconvenient that some liquor was not available due to awaiting the liquor license --- THANK YOU Mark and Jen for serving us with a smile and providing fun conversation and great service!

The hotel staff is great. There is an awful strong odor as you enter into the hotel-it’s almost too much. I smelled it throughout the first floor of the hotel. The room looked clean until you actually looked at the details. The curtain in our room was held with large binder clips and the tub was slow draining. Overall, the stay was okay. I couldn’t hear anyone through the walls. I’m just not sure if I’d stay here again due to the strong odor on the first floor-Yikes!

The room okay but the shades were broken and held together by paper clips. The office chair was very worn out and the “leather” was coming off. The chair had stains. This hotel needs some love. Also, the website says checkin is at 3pm but it’s not until 4pm.

Great staff and very accommodating. We requested two beds on our late check-in and they provided us with a big room, which we really appreciated. Great location too.

Staff was great. House keeping left cleaning supplies in room. Breakfast was good and affordable but very basic. Dinner was very good and food was delicious. Front desk staff is very friendly. Room was clean, spacious but noisy.

Super clean room. The location was great with many great restaurants close by. It was nice to have full size shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and hand soaps available that smelled great. The double room with the sofa and extra TV was perfect for entertaining our family that we were visiting.

Staff was great. Room was nice - but - window shade wouldn’t go up and desk chair was terribly tattered.
