As a JSU grad and a Hilton Honors Diamond, I may be a bit biased. Here are my thoughts: 1. The front desk and breakfast staff are great. They are welcoming, engaging, and very helpful. I forgot some things one visit, called, and they had them there the next time I was there. 2. Rooms are consistently good. I wish the TV's would allow me to plug in my Roku. But this does have its advantages, too. Less TV. 3. Breakfast is good for a Hampton Inn breakfast. If only I can remember they have boiled eggs before I eat the scrambled eggs. 4. The location is convenient. It would great if they had a casual dining chain next door, e.g., Chili's or Applebee's, but that is not a negative reflection on the hotel. One other thing, that was covered in number 1. I really can't say enough positive things about the staff. I have had great conversations with staff members over the years. A college student, a single mom, and some others. They were all pleasant and helpful and, as far as I am concerned, they all deserve pay raises.
