The location is great- directly on Ocean! We enjoyed the pool with on site bar and food service. Also took advantage of inside restaurant for breakfast. Service was excellent in both areas. One evening we sat around the outdoor fire pit. Overall what we expected from a Marriot. (Hotel is within walking distance to many other eateries.) Unfortunately one elevator was not working, the floors were worn and dirty, the wall thermostat in our room wasn’t working, and many of us had issues getting the keys to work. Despite the issues, we would stay here again for the location and amenities.

The lobby smells absolutely amazing which gives off a great vibe and start to your stay. The check in process was smooth and ALL of the staff members I encountered were more than welcoming and pleasant. The pool was heated and open late and the hot tub was large and rejuvenating. The AC in the room worked extremely well. The bed was cozy and the ocean view from the room was extremely relaxing. I will be booking more stays here when I come to Jacksonville

Favorite marriott hotel so far! Great staff,clean room, great pool and poolside bar. Only issue is they hand out more parking passes than spots. The franchise does own the Fairfield across the street which offers fee parking but you don't get a discount if you park in that lot.

Rachel at the front desk made our visit! Upon arrival she could tell we were very rattled from a struggle with the rental car. She was very kind in providing a list of local restaurants within walking distance. She was also very understanding in honoring our reservation that was made in my husbands name but at the last minute was unable to travel with us. The hotel was clean, all staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful. The view from our balcony was perfect. It overlooks the pool and ocean. The pool area was very well maintained and clean. We would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

This was the first time I had to pay for parking at a property where I was staying. $15 per day to park at your own risk. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The breakfast buffet was $22 per person, so we ate at the Waffle House.

Calm, relaxing evening. Clean room, good water pressure. I requested extra towels, they never came. Other than that, great stay.
