Sky Desert Safari & Spa

Staff is helpful. Food is good. Cleanliness is ok. The night cultural programs are good. The air-conditioned is good. Both the tent doors, main and bathroom, and the canvas roof rattles continuously due to wind. Don't take their safari. Book it from somewhere else. They promise you for 45 minutes camel and 45 minutes Jeep ride which is actually 20 minutes each. And the cost Rs 1100 per head is very high for this.

Visited on 7th oct23. 1. Stayed in AC rooms. Both doors & tent sealing makes continuous rattling noise. AC was good 2. Food was good and cultural programs were ok 3. The camel and jeep safari (1,100 per head) is very costly. And they do not deliver as promised unless u argue and insist. The Jeep ride is only 20 minutes to and fro and camel ride is 10 minutes. But still sand dunes is a must visit place

They never mention anything online about the extra amount they gonna charge for anything and everything. Even their pick up and drop to their tents from city. You are bound to prefer their way as there is no other way. I paid for city ride, pick up drop, Thar Jeep sand safari, camel ride all for 9k which was taken in advance from a outhouse in the city even before escorting us to actual tent. I could visit 3 places out if 7 places mentioned in the city, got a drop to tent, there was nothing such a sand safari but it was just a ride from tent to sunset point and back, a 300mts camel ride! After I paid the amount slowly the person/owner started behaving odd in his response. A big scam runs in the whole desert by almost all the tent owners duping people for short rides and heavy amount. If you pay ₹100-200 to the local in the dunes itself you would end up doing a much more stretch of ride rather than what you get paying these tent owners. I paid ₹1500 for a double camel ride for less than 300 mts. I was constantly bothered for taking a quad bike ride on the spot for an extra payment even after paying 9k total which was not reflecting in anyway. Apart from this soured evening event experience we had just fine stay at the tent, the camp cultural event was fantastic and food was good. I wish I could have not booked the activities with these people then I wouldn’t have hated the trip this much but I had no option! Tip- book you rides or camp from the city hotel links or from city travel guides. I realised this after I came back to city from the camp the next day!

Our stay at Sky Deset Safari camp was very nice, comfortable. The luxurious tent rooms- with almost everything that one desires to live in the sand dunes, the room service, room cleaning, laundry services , food services was excellent. The Staff here - ( naming few among all ) B****, Iqbal , Dinu & Bhuvan chef were excellent too. They are all so welcoming, friendly, full of warmth. Hanif & Illyas arranged everything so well, for us to give us a memorable stay in the sand dunes for more than 2 week & also we are revisiting for sure. We are touched & greatful with their hospitality.

Sky camp cheated us by taking extra money - the package was booked for 1 night for 7.5k with complementary breakfast, snacks, lunch, camel safari and cultural program. However, visiting the camp , Jeep Safari expenses was not included which cost us 10k also without paying this you can not attend the place that was a cheat. Even camel safari was for 10mns only..for extra time you have to pay 600 more. In short this people are making money and not providing all facilities. Only two bottles of water is complementary, and each item is charged 20rs extra.

Hi, i request users to pls not to visit this location. I have booked this desert safari after a lots of research and paid advance directly to the owner. Before we reach to location they will call you to their office in Jaisalmer for making full payment and show us other activities. They will show you lucrative picture at the time of booking but what you get at the time of checkin is LIZARD. We did the same trusting that everything will be proper but after reaching their they provided two tents to us and it has LIZARDS in it. We almost saw 7 to 8 lizards in bathroom and bedroom. Even there were two lizards on the bed. We were surprised and shocked. When we reached out to their supervisor, he showed us two more rooms. However, the same thing noted and we saw lizards in that room as well. We requested them to pls refund the money what we have paid becoz if we stay here with family, we will not be able to enjoy and rather our night would be a scary one. How can a family of two with four children stay in tents having LIZARDS. They did not even had courtesy to refund the money and we have to leave from there empty handed. The owner even after informing him the situation did not called back and never responded for the refund requested. So its a looting company by harassing the clients by taking advance money and not giving proper service. I request not to opt for this desert safari in future. Thanks

The staff is courteous. The rooms are nice, and all of the amenities are excellent. Thanks to the whole Flame of the Forest crew. The scenery, cottages, and vistas are all spectacular. Overall, a really pleasant visit... Also, excellent service. They provide adventure sports like as zip-lining, rappelling, wall climbing, kayaking, and night treks as part of their package, which includes lodging, meals, and all of these activities.

Our stay was in Dec 2021, truly red season. It was a good experience and was impressed with hospitality and courteous behaviour of Staff and ***ager. We reached camp at 0400 PM from Jaisalmer. Mr Nasir guided us on how to plan the iteniary for the day and next day. His Chef cooked delicious food and it was really authenic Rajasthani buffet spread. They took good care of their guest for dessert safari. All through they were engaged if we were comfortable and enjoying our trip. There are ***y camps in Sam area but I would recommend them. We visited the camp in Jan 2022 n I was so impressed with hospitality and courteous behavious of Staff and ***agerthat pushed myself to communicate my thoughts to all. At first we reached camp at 2am since we started late from Delhi but staff was up and waiting for us with warm food. Next Day Mr Haneef and Nasir guided us on how to plan the iteniary for next 2 days. His Chef cooked dedi chinese on our de***d and it was really yum. The take care of their guest and does not hand over them to any unreliable soyrce for dessert safari.All through thet were bothere if we were comfortable and enjoying our trip. There are ***y camps in Sam area but I would recommend them. Wishing you luck
