Hotel Stella Continental

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and won't be staying again. Staff are not interested in anything but your money. Room was grubby with bugs that we had to constantly kill and rats between the room and the floor above. And they ripped us right off with a bag of laundry big time. We'll done stella on losing guests your only interested in functions.

We stayed here for the first time and had lots of family and friends with us and all booked rooms. All were clean, modern, comfortable and very smart. Restaurant and bar great with good range of drinks, food and at good prices. Staff were obliging and polite. See you in October 2024 as this will be our new base for annual holidays in the area.

Excellent place for dining, food quality was superb i had never such as dishes ,staff was very friendly and professional ,ambience of hotel was amazing ..Hotel location is approachable and will visit again

Just want to book the Hotel for the Birthday Party, call the Hotel Staff and Spoke to GM vide Name Mr. IK Sharma to understand the modality of the arrangement and packages. The experience is very Pathetic and worst of my lifetime, the GM behaviour as well as staff is very arrogant, ada***t and an annoying resulting in pestering to the customer. I'm very astonished to witness such pathetic behaviour and hospitality service to the customers It clearly depicts that the Hotel just want to make money from the customer, didn't bother about customer feelings, services to be offered to the customer and just bolldozed the customer with exorbitant pricing and harsh words. Such pestering and behaviour doesn't even met the hospitality standards and even marketing price are too exorbitant as compared to best 5 Star Hotel properties. Atleast the Hotel Staff should have courtesy towards the customer in understanding the needs of the customer and atleast should now how to talk politely to the customer. We decided to go with this hotel based on location and amenities. We have had the most comfortable stay during the 8 days. Staff have been attentive when we have required anything in particular. The executive room that we booked did not disappoint at all. It was extremely spacious for my parents and I. The only downside for us tea lovers is that we could not get room service until 0730. By that time it is normally round 2 of chai. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay local and supporting the local businesses of Goraya. Stay local. Shop local.

I was really looking forward to my stay at the Stella Hotel in Goraya .The hotel needs to invest in staff training - Clearly not there . Some Examples , At Breakfast there was hardly more than 6 guests at anyone time - but the whole breakfast function is so dis-organised . There are 3 flasks . Not a single one labled so guests are having to open the flask lid and put thier nose to smell what the hot liquid is : Tea / Coffee / Hot Chocolate . Not very hygiene. Lack of breakfast items . On arrival i was shown to my suite which was clean ..i was shown to the room safe ...The first thing i did was i put passport in the safe and locked the safe ..To my horror i could not open the safe again - had to call reception . They sent a couple of guys who after 20 mins got it open ..but it meant i could not use the safe again .. I then tried the TV - again not working . Satellite box had to be changed twice ! Over 2 days.. I then ordered Masala Chai ! Which i thought was stale not fresh at all ..I ordered another cup ...again stale most likely pre made . By now i had to call reception and ask them to ensure my tea was fresh . Finally some effort was made and when my tea did arrive the room service guy bought tray load of food into my room - I said that food is nit mine !!!He replied yes i know .its for another room but iam just dropping your Tea on nthe way ...The thought that someone else 's food had been in my room and juggled about is very uncomfortable with me . Failure of ***agement

Bar service is warranted. Unhygienic. Cockroach on roaming on walls. Casual revert from staf saying it’s casual to have hair in meal. No adherence to service guidelines issued by fssai and government of Punjab. Risk to life amd healthy of people

It was a bitter and worst experience we got by visiting with our families at Stella Continental. We found Stella not a resturant or hotel but more than a fish market. So loud noise of drunken people was there in a family hall but no body cared. They were abusing but all staff was busy to please them and nobody tried to control the situation. Who have to take care of other families who are mistakenly chose this restaurant? Very poor service and attitude of staff. Even their General ***ager has lack of etiquette who did not know to offer a seat for courtesy, when approached by Senior Government Officials and Businessmen. We request all not to visit there specially with families. It deserves ZERO star but unfortunately it is not available there.

We had problems checking inn but the hotel receptionist Navi convinced us to stay as i am a regular customer we booked two rooms then there was a problem with the two rooms but the receptionist ***ager Mr S Kumar sorted it we had daily breakfast in are bedrooms and had dinner in the restaurant the food is unbelievable all dishes are excellent are favorites are all the vegetarian dishes & Missi Roti i would like to say thank you to everyone at the hotel a special thanks to Navi & Hi***shu (front office) we be back later on this year.
