What a great little place! We had a smooth check-in with one of the owners who then jumped in his cart and we followed to our room which was on the next block (we chose Col. Richard Waterhouse Cottage which was like a small room behind a main house.) We had a nice stay and really enjoyed breakfast the next morning. It is true that the food has something special that makes it so tasty! We really enjoyed the stay and the location was right in town. Highly recommend!

The owners were very friendly. The breakfast both days were amazing. We had a pleasant stay and could walk to the main area of town.

We booked the room with 2 double beds, online it states this room is across the street from the main house. It is over a block and a half from the main house. We were not given instructions on climate control and woke up to a room at 55 degeees. They did bring us a space heater which was appreciated when we called to inquire about location of a thermostat in the house.

We will definitely stay here again! The location was convenient to walk anywhere in Jefferson and the price was a great value. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the perks such as complimentary beverages and the porch and patio areas were great to sit back and relax. The owners and staff were great to interact with and the breakfast was the best I've had in a long time.

Room was clean, very quiet. Breakfast was great. We arrived around 8 pm but we let the mgr know and he met us when we arrived to check us in, take our breakfast order and walk us over to our room. Walking distance to the center of town. Two blocks.

Wonderful place!
The breakfast was delicious and more than you could eat. The room was clean. The house we stayed in had steps and was a little difficult for my husband as he walks with a cane. The main house did not have that problem.

Disappointed. Was really hoping to stay in main house. Did not realize we would be in an off site room. Definitely not as nostalgic & warm feeling as the last time we stayed here (main house).
Staff was very polite & breakfast was the best!
