I have stayed here 5 times in the last 2 years. I love it here! It is great for couples, as well as for entire families. Rates are very reasonable and there is a good variety in unit sizes and in-room amenities, making it perfect for whatever group you are traveling with The pool is lovely, complete with a large kiddie pool and poolside bar. Very short walk to Driftwood Beach, making it a great location if you are interested in doing a sunrise at Driftwood. The onsite restaurant is wonderful! We make it a point to eat there each time we visit Jekyll. This is our go-to hotel whenever we visit the island!

Can only speak for the unit we had, because many are privately owned. We were in unit 153 and had a gorgeous ocean view! The room was large and very comfortable, except the furniture was outdated and in some cases broken. In spite of that, we truly enjoyed this property and had a wonderful time. The pool is one of the best I have ever experienced, 2/3 of it is deep end and it's heated to a very comfortable temperature!

The location at Villas by the Sea is great and a really good restaurant on site, but the one bedroom unit we were assigned was really in need of some updating. The bathtub looked as if it’s surface had been unsuccessfully refinished and I think they should have just replaced the whole tub. Note that each unit has an independent owner so the state of other units may be better (and probably are, I hope!). That being said the unit was clean and the air conditioning worked so no complaints there. We didn’t bother asking if we could see a different unit as we weren’t there long enough so the friendly and helpful front desk staff may be able to help you if you aren’t thrilled with the decor in your unit.

Great location to beach. Room itself needs updating. Easy check in. Needs bathroom downstairs. Overall stay was worth it.

Bathrooms were dirty, outlets were loose so nothing would stay plugged in, shower heads had no pressure (need to be replaced), one outlet upstairs was completely uncovered exposing wiring, upstairs bathroom door knob was about to fall off, and the third stair from bottom was loose and a person in our party fell down the stairs which resulted in her hurting her foot.

A quiet and relaxing place to stay on the beach. Condo had most of what was needed to have a good stay. The oven was dirty and rusted inside, so it was unusable and there could have been some smaller mixing bowls. Easy to get around the island.

Wake to sunrise and sleep to moonrise over the ocean all from the bedroom. Oh yea…also just a short walk to driftwood beach. Would recommend!

We have stayed at the Villas several times and always enjoyed the experience. This trip we were placed in a 1 br room, as requested but next to a unit that was being renovated. We were able to live with the noise the first few days but the workers began starting earlier and earlier. I complained to the office and they immediately placed us in a larger, 2 br unit with a fantastic view ( at no additional cost). Great customer service. We will return!!!
