We last stayed here over 10 years ago and noticed a vast change. The rooms have been modernised and whilst it took a bit of getting used to we would say that they have done a good job. We were offered an upgrade on arrival as we had asked for a room that we had previously stayed in and it had now been turned into a suite which was most welcome. The facilities in the suite were fantastic and we thank the staff for the opportunity to sample the suite. However our biggest disapoin**ent was the closure of both the Courtyard at Crane restaurant and the main restaurant for dinner. No fine dining options are now offered as the Wharf restaurant is just a fast food outlet and all the emphasis appears to be at the new Jekyll Ocean Club which we feel is a big mistake as the original Club hotel has so much history.

Property fantastic. Service at check-in and cleanliness of room needs a change, Restaurants were good, Valet (Malcolm) was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Staff walking around property friendly. We loved how quiet it was and very beautiful ground.

We stayed at the Island Club resort and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the pool, croquet, and restaurants on site. Rooms were nice and clean with good air conditioners. Only complaint was how the tap water tasted. Bring your own gallon jug if staying on the island.

Lovely Hotel. Everything was perfect. Wonderful staff. Great room... great everything ... Restaurant service very slow but that did not take away from the hotel which still deserves the highest rating. Great location for shopping, dining, sightseeing, walking... loved our stay.

Incredible property that makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. Beautiful sunsets, incredible history, relaxing environment well-heated pool also makes it easy to swim even when it’s in the mid 60s and sunny.

The natural beauty of the setting along the waterfront among majestic centuries old oak trees, and just minutes from the beach makes this a great choice for varied vacationers! All options are within walking or biking (rentals available) or a 5 minute shuttle away! No need to drive at all. The scenery is enough but the historical tours, pool, beach, fire pit, restaurants, Sea Turtle Center, village shops, and museum are more than enough! You will come back!

My mom and I came for a little get away. The hotel was beautiful and well maintained despite it age. We loved the uniqueness of the hotel - not like every other hotel out there. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
