The Westin Jekyll Island Beach Resort

Hotel was nice but no room service which is sucks . The reason is lacking of stuff . Good thing is restaurant just at the lobby . We did reservations to save our spot. But over all location is perfect. They have bicycles to rent.

Room was nice, workers seemed a little disinterested.

I had such an enjoyable vacation at this Westin Hotel on Jekyll island. The location, the hotel, the room, level of service, the cleanliness and attention to details are all top notch. Here are a few details that I noticed during my short stay. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Kyle, nice guy, who was waiting just inside the hotel reception area. I then waited at the Reception Desk for maybe 2 minutes before I was received by the Reception Desk attendant Matt. Matt was professional, quick to find my reservation and was helpful and courteous. After getting my room key, and as I walked back outside to my car, Kyle asked me how my check-in went and wanted to confirm that everything was alright. Good guy. Upon entering my room, #474, I was pleasantly surprised on seeing that the living room was separated from the bedroom. A nice sized balcony, ocean view and the bathroom had both a large bathtub as well as a large shower. I also noticed the huge TV, which was very impressive and probably the largest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room. Finally, the closet space in the living room and then again in the bedroom is amazing and for sure someone could very comfortably stay in that room for over a month and never feel cramped. After getting changed, I left my room in search of the pool and a bar and I passed a Miss Beverly, from housekeeping, who sent me in the right direction and was very pleasant. I then went down to the pool area/pool bar, to order a drink and some lunch. Jordan was the bartender, who was very courteous and a good bartender, (she introduced herself and then asked me my name). Jordan suggested getting the tacos, which I did, and they were awesome, especially that salsa, which is out of this world good. After this, I walked to the pool and noticed an employee that had just returned from the beach and was now organizing the pool chairs. I said hi and he introduced himself as Andy and then asked me my name, (this is awesome and I'm not sure if this is encouraged by the hotel, but it's great that they both asked for my name and then used my name each time I passed them). Furthermore, several years back I had visited this property and Andy had worked here. Well, somehow Andy said he recognized me. Either I look just like someone else or he truly recognized me, either way, I was impressed. I then spent some time at the pool, the jacuzzi and the amazing beach. After enjoying the beach, I went back to my room to change for the evening. As I was heading down the hall to my room, Miss Beverly greeted me again with a nice smile. I changed and then spent most of the evening off the resort property at a close friend's house. I returned to the hotel and had a great sleep, on the very comfortable bed and in the morning, I enjoyed the shower and the White Tea shower products. I then packed up and went down to the restaurant for a to-go breakfast. I was greeted by Asia at the Hostess stand and she was awesome, great

This hotel is a beautiful property and located very close to the convention center on the island the restaurant is very good. It is also located close to other restaurants. The customer service was excellent at the hotel as well as the restaurant. Will definitely stay there again when back on Jekyll.

We booked a last minute spring break trip with 2 kids and had the best trip!! Highly recommend booking directly with the hotel. Jesica Ryals was super helpful and found us an amazing room at a great rate!! I knew this resort was nice because my bosses have a conference here every summer, but it is also perfect for a family trip! Loved the chairs and umbrellas set up on the beach- first come first serve! Lots of restaurants and shops right next to the resort and many just a minute or 2 down the road! We will definitely be back soon! Overall much nicer than the Hampton Inn where we had stayed before. This resort is right one the beach, which makes it so much easier when you are toting around small children and all their stuff for a beach day! :)

It's just a glorified Hampton Inn there are a few extras they are lovely golf cart to take around the ground are somewhat kept up the staff is very good at not acknowledging you! they are rude they try to Be “lovely or helpfull” but it is not genuine they have the attitude like u are treating them like the staff tHE ROOM Is yucky ISLAND VIEW IS PARKING LOT VIEW ;) the pool has a layer of cloudy stuff on the edge of th whole pool

Hotel is located on the grounds of a GA State Park so there is a $10 Entrance Fee with a discount for US Military Active Duty or Veterans. Excellent hotel with amicable staff & exceptional beach! Ample free outdoor parking on property that is shared with adjacent hotel. Free Street parking is available as well. Large Room with desk & sitting area was very clean, king size bed mattress a little firm, king size pillows very puffy. Large sitting balcony with good view of the beach & heated outdoor pool (indoor pool as well). Large Bathroom with Large Shower Head. Only drawback was not being able to lower thermostat below 70 degrees. Large Smart TV with local channels & few free stream services. Numerous stores & restaurants available within few mining walking distance or driving as well. Historical tours & museum are available within short driving distance. Very safe & delightful location!
