Rooms were pleasant, everything functioning nicely. Hotel is comfortable and reasonably well-organised. Around the resort there are places where poor signage and language difficulties may give pause for non-Korean-speaking travellers, but it's nothing that a smartphone and a little persistence can't overcome. Free shuttle buses to the close-by ski hill and two local towns are frequent enough. Staff are kind, considerate and helpful. Food on the mountain is basic but perfectly fine. Unless you are coming for the ****** specifically I wouldn't recommend the hotel in general. All facilities require extra charges and are cynically overpriced to rob more money from the punters, whose tinted-window executive cars arrive in droves. The less said about the buffet at the Grand Table the better. There is something very soulless about the High1 resort in general, and the strong corporate vibes give the place an eerie quality. The skiing is not so bad, although experienced riders will get bored after 2 or 3 days, unless a rare snowfall increases the fun. That said, the resort's snow-making abilities are quite impressive. If you are someone who gets irritated by poor piste etiquette, don't come here. At any given time half of the riders will be in the process of falling over, will have already fallen over, or will be chatting sat in the middle of the fairway. Try not to imagine anything in the way of apres-ski. As a solo traveller bored of watching the ****** donkeys shift about the hotel, I went searching in the local towns for a bar. It was a depressing failure. I read the resort was intended to bring money to the depressed mining towns of Sabuk and Gohan, but seemingly it has turned these places into a succession of garishly presented empty restaurants and ”Thai massage” joints, the latter being a favourite of the aforementioned tinted-window crowd.

It's really close to Sabuk Station, and the hotel's underground parking lot is a Soca zone, so you can travel without a car without any problems! There is also a good underground parking lot, so it's great to visit by car! There are several convenience stores within a 5-minute walk, and disposable items such as toiletries can be purchased from the vending machine on the first floor! There is also a free breakfast service, which is perfect for eating for free. The price is reasonable compared to the facilities, so I think I will visit again if I have the chance to come to Jeongseon again!

Stayed for one night to use High1 facilities. The road from Taebaek to Jeongseon has been snow-covered and if you pass through it, you will definitely get a new car. In particular, calcium chloride and dust around the wheels harden and adhere. I entered High One Snow World at 1:30 PM and used it until it closed. I visited after it had snowed, so the snow was quite nice. We boarded the family rubber boat about 6 times. The disappointing thing is that the snow leading down to the gondola platform was slippery.

However, despite being geographically isolated, there is no delicious food or good sights in the premises, so it is a pity that the pleasure of travel is halved. The location and facilities were too wasteful to simply stay for the purpose of sleeping. I hope you will take note.

Due to the coronavirus, it is very quiet here. Although the castle-like buildings on the mountain are a bit old, they are still beautiful, but very dull. It was a perfect lodging for the purpose of coming to heal alone. Gangwon Land Main Hotel is sometimes used when it is closed or too expensive. I feel very clean and friendly to customers. The basic toiletries are also free of charge. The cost performance is very good than the hotel, especially because I called a taxi right away, so I used it very comfortably. Quiet when sleeping and very comfortable downtown if you walk a little bit.

It's cleaner and better than I thought. I stayed for a day to go to Mt. Mindong, but I have a good rest. I only went to sleep, but the bathroom is clean and nice.
