Cicada Luxury Camping

Great anniversary get away. Hosts were so friendly. Beautiful views and so lovely to be in such a peaceful place but so close to things to do (Kiama/jamberoo etc.) we thought we were going to be so cold at night but great heated blankets kept us warm through the night. The tent had everything you could think of. The bed was a little hard for me but that’s personal preference. Loved the friendly chickens too. Thank you for letting us stay.

We had a fantastic experience at Cicada. We stayed in “The Black Prince” and it had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Cooking on the fire pit was fun and the views were spectacular. While the outdoor bath was not quite as secluded as we had expected it did not stop us enjoying an outdoor soak watching the sun set over the mountains (with the use of strategically positioned towels for entering and exiting). Sitting by the fire under the stars was so relaxing and exactly what we were expecting from this stay. Nick was the perfect host- very welcoming with great advice on things to do. Kiama is such a fantastic spot with so much to see- we will definitely be back.

A truly beautiful, peaceful place in an incredibly picturesque part of NSW. We loved every bit of this luxury camping experience, from making dinner over the open fire pit under the stars to the super comfy bed and the rainwater shower with eco-friendly products. The tent itself was amazing (we stayed in the Black Prince), very spacious and well appointed with wonderful views. It’s only a short drive from the town of Kiama that has a beautiful ocean pool and loads of cafes and shops but we spent most of our time at Cicada as it was just too good to leave!

Wow Nick! This place is amazing. Loved every minute of our two night stay even during a night of torrential rain and gale force winds! We stayed in the Black Prince 'tent' and felt safe, warm and cocooned. We enjoyed the hammock and outside bath with wine in hand. Sat by the fire pit on the second night watching the sky fill with stars following an afternoon of bliss under Jodie's very capable massaging hands. Would love to stay again and will definitely be encouraging friends and family to visit. 8 mins into Kiama. 15 mins to Gerringong. Perfect location. Truly a magnificent place to relax and reflect. Feeling very grateful. Thank you!!!!

Cicada luxury camping was a wonderful, scenic glamping experience. Our two nights in the bell tent were peaceful, with all the amenities you could ask for. BYO marshmallow roasting sticks for the campfire and rain gear in case. Waking up to roaming kangaroos, chickens and cows was a nice change from home.

We had the most amazing time .nick the owner was so helpful and the tent we stayed in was perfect.very clean and tidy..View was amazing and the chickens kept us entertained. Will definitely be back soon. our new holiday destination. Or just a weekend. Thank you Nick and jen

Great place to get away with your loved one beautiful and peaceful tent with all the necessary comfort to make you feel in a camp tent but at the same time in a 5 star hotel Lovely owners and lovely property Also some friendly chickens to cuddle The place is really close to lots of natural parks and places to visit Highly suggested

Had an incredible time at Cicada. The tent was awesome, and the hammock was my favourite. Views were incredible and the local cows and chickens were a delight. Nick and his wife were so helpful and kind and gave me many local tips. Always accessible and replied very quickly. Very relaxed now, loved it!
