We liked the location, the manager was responsive and changed our room after we weren't happy with the WIFI connection, though it didn't help much. We also received free breakfast for 2 mornings which helped us a bit with our experience. we hae a free parking place though no lights in the parking lot!
We didn't like that this property didn't have a good Wi-Fi connection and the kids always complained. though one of the rooms was a safe room. \
the rooms were not clean. and the kitchen was very dirty and we needed to clean it by our self because the cleaners were always in a different building and busy.... you better spend your money in a different place.

Great location with convenient parking and exceptionally friendly staff. Overall a pleasant stay, though the cleanliness of the towels could be improved.

We have stayed at this hotel many times since 2016. The location is perfect. We had a garden room which is lovely. However, the wifi was terrible. There is no excuse for this. A simple booster would resolve this problem. And the rooms have not been updated. There was the same not-so clean rug in the living room, and the bathroom could use updating. There is a mini-bathtub which can not be used as a bathtub. They should renovate and put in a good shower! The people who run the place are lovely and helpful but they have limited hours. They do not clean the rooms on Shabbat and holidays.

The location is fantastic! We had a garden suite which was lovely. However, the wifi was terrible. Kept going out and only worked, if at all, in the living room, not in the garden, bedroom or bathroom. We have stayed here many time over the past 10 years and they could use some updating. The bathroom needs renovation. There is a mini-tub, which cannot be used as a tub, and should be renovated as a new shower. There is the same rug in the living room for the past 10 years.

The bad: there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, only in the kitchenette / living room area. This was a big surprise as the hotel says it offers air conditioning - at the least, that's very misleading. When I asked about this, the hotel's response was "leave the door between the rooms open (we did and it didn't help). It also happened to be a heat wave while we were there, meaning the room was extra hot. The good: great location, room was clean, staff was nice, check-in and check-out couldn't have been simpler (literally pick up the key and drop it off), good shabbat policy (can check out after shabbat ends).

Third stay
This was my third time staying at the Rafael Residence. Small one bedroom apartments. Convenient parking, friendly and accommodating staff, kitchenette, business friendly. Lovely neighborhood with excellent public transportation. Would definitely stay here again!
