The street the hotel was on is closed due to construction. We had to carry our luggage 2 blocks from the parking lot to the hotel.
We should have been warned of the closed street when we made the reservation. The construction is a long term project and it was known at the time we booked this hotel.
I am 74 years old and have a heart condition - I will pursue a refund or rate reduction for this trip. The 5 days spent in Jerusalem was a nightmare.
I spent a huge sum of money for air fare, car rental and parking and was stressed out for 5 days. The best part o my trip was leaving Jerusalem!

I made a mistake with the dates - and the hotel and/or Trip.com was unable to accommodate a change of dates so I was charged for the hotel and did not stay there. That was a bummer. Of course, because I couldn't make a change to the reservation (I discovered the mistakes minutes after I booked it) I was unwilling to book with this hotel and stayed somewhere else. Future travel will not encourage me to stay here.

Everything would be fine, but the entire street where the hotel is located is currently dug up. But the hotel itself isn't to blame, of course. Otherwise, everything is fine. The price is admittedly high, in my opinion. But that's the case throughout Israel. Everything is expensive, including hotel accommodations.

Visited many times. Excellent location, including a 24/7 supermarket (closed on Shabbat). The hotel only has rooms, no restaurant, etc. Many sights are within walking distance, including the Old Town. Close to the Light Rail. Currently, there are roadworks underway, and King George Street is closed to cars. If you close your balcony door at night, you won't be bothered by it. Highly recommended.
