Super 8 by Wyndham Independence

A little better than average hotel stay. Nothing wrong and everything worked as it should. Breakfast is very light (oatmeal, coffee and tea), but this is off season, and very few of the rooms had occupants. This is most likely the most modern hotel in town.

The room that was booked (2 bed wheelchair accessible)was NOT wheelchair accessible like the listing described. We couldnt get the wheelchair through the bathroom door. Went to the front desk as my grandpa (wheelchair bound) needed to use the bathroom and they opened up another room for him to just use the bathroom. They offered him a single bed wheelchair accessible room and said we could put a cot in the bathroom for a second bed! That is not a viable option or substitution. We asked if we could just get a refund (since the room wasnt wheelchair accessible as described) to find another hotel and the clerk offered to keep us in original room but would give access to the other rooms bathroom instead. Ridiculous!

It was great as always

The manager and her staff are wonderful. I am a regular staying here when in town and I am always happy with the staff. The breakfast options are limited but a great breakfast restaurant is just across the parking lot. The TVs need updated but otherwise you can't beat this property for value and friendliness.

The room was ok. Nothing grand. I didn’t like the pillows. Woken up between midnight and 2 with people walking around. The lights by the bed didn’t work. Only thing good about breakfast was the coffee. It was an affordable place to sleep

This property is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Easy access to many dining options within two miles. Staff was very friendly.
