The landlord is a gentle young lady with a clingy little dog. Seeing us walking around with us naturally, everyone in the town thought it was our dog. For the first time, I have a yard of my own. There is a pomegranate tree in the yard, so I can drink tea when I have nothing to do. There is a projector in the room, and the hot water for the bath is large and comfortable. Charming guesthouse set in an old house with a beautiful courtyard. You will find that most guesthouses in Shaxi are designed in this style as the old buildings have been tastefully restored. However, the service and upkeep at Yundu is excellent! The house is conveniently located just a short walk to the main square and the alleys nearby are full of local shops and restaurants. Despite the language barrier on our side, the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed having breakfast and reading near the koi pond in the courtyard; the laid back atmosphere is what Shaxi is all about. We highly recommend choosing the Chinese breakfast, absolutely delicious! We will definitely choose Yundu again if we are lucky enough to return to Shaxi!

In Shaxi's one-week plan, we chose to stay in the hotel for half of the time. There are not many rooms in the hotel, there are 4 rooms in the front yard, and you can see the view from the window. Gothic is a family duplex suite. There is enough space for us and our children to read, write and enjoy privately. This is probably the case for rooms with a view. Every day starts with sunshine and the scenery outside the window. The sofa by the window is the best choice for reading in a daze in the room, watching the sunlight wandering in the room and feeling the light and shadow. The most charming place in the flower house is the garden designed and managed by the eighty-year-old aunt. There are flowers everywhere. There is also the Baidao Library where we choose to spend more time. The feeling of being embraced by good books is very reassuring. The highest reward of travel is meeting like-minded people. In the flower house, chatting with the gentle-hearted boss couple, the store manager Cheng Zi, and a group of like-minded guests who also love books is the biggest gain of our trip. After drinking and buying good tea, I discovered that there is a quiet and elegant courtyard at the back. I thought it was perfect for bringing parents and children to spend the summer. I came to Shaxi again in July. After staying in Qibu, my family liked it very much and made plans to come back in the future. Location: In the alley next to Sideng Street, the main street of Shaxi Ancient Town, a two-minute walk from the stage. Surrounding environment: Qibu Inn is located in the small courtyard behind the tea house of the same name. On the left and right are inns and clothing stores, and opposite is a restaurant. There is a small restaurant with resident singers for morning coffee and evening drinks at the entrance of the alley. No matter how lively it is at night, it will not disturb the Qibu Inn. This is a wonderful place to find tranquility in the midst of chaos. Facilities and equipment: The first floor of the booked room has a small kitchen, a long table for dining, a small Kang for drinking tea, and a washing machine. On the second floor there is a 1.8-meter bed and a bay window for watching the stars. The bathroom has a smart toilet with a heated seat and a shower with fast heat and high water flow. There is no air conditioning because Shaxi has pleasant temperatures all year round, so it is not really needed. Living experience: The yard is convenient for traveling.
