Fanjingshan Mountain View Cloud Lodge Boutique B&B

The room was clean and tidy, and the owner was very attentive. The room window opened to a typhoon (presumably, they meant it was open and they could see/hear the typhoon outside, or perhaps it was open for ventilation during a typhoon). The power card and room key were separate. In the afternoon, a few friends enjoyed tea in the courtyard. It felt like staying at a home rather than a guesthouse. I was very satisfied with this stay.

The B&B is in a beautiful location, close to the scenic area entrance, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. It also has its own exclusive outdoor parking area. The B&B has its own restaurant, and the food tastes pretty good. Breakfast isn't included with the stay, but it's only 10 yuan, which isn't expensive.

The courtyard is beautiful, the service is attentive, and the room is spacious. However, the bedding isn't breathable. I stayed in four different guesthouses during my trip to Guizhou, and I slept soundly everywhere else. In this room, even with the AC set to 20 degrees Celsius (68°F), I still woke up feeling hot during the night and couldn't sleep.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the scenic area entrance. The decor is modern and appealing, but there's room for improvement in the details. For example, the room description mentioned fruit, but there wasn't any. The toothbrush was quite wide and not as comfortable as the packaging claimed. The comforter, being cotton, felt heavy and damp due to the rainy weather. Although breakfast was only 10 yuan, it wasn't very tasty. Perhaps offering à la carte options with better quality, or not providing it at all, would be better.

This guesthouse is brand new and nestled by the mountainside, just a three to five-minute walk from the Fanjingshan tourist center. The courtyard is beautiful and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We came down from Fanjingshan quite late, and the owner kindly came to pick us up and even cooked us noodles, all free of charge. The bedding was super comfortable, the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, and the room felt very cozy.

Location: The guesthouse is a 10-minute walk from the scenic area, which is very convenient for transportation. It also has its own parking lot, so guests who drive can park their cars there and walk to the attractions. Facilities: The hotel was recently renovated, so the facilities are quite new, and the bedding is comfortable. There's a bamboo forest outside the window, offering a lovely view. However, the swimming pool is not like what's shown in the promotional video; it's actually very small and shallow, almost unusable for swimming. Service: Having visited several major attractions in Guizhou, I'd say the service at this guesthouse is a bit subpar compared to others. Even after I drove right up to the guesthouse entrance, no one contacted me beforehand to tell me where to park. I had to proactively call the owner after arriving, and only then did they rush out to greet me. We stayed for two nights, and after housekeeping cleaned the room on the second day, there were no bath towels or regular towels. I didn't even know the internal phone number to call, so I had to go downstairs myself to ask for them. Moreover, tea bags were only provided on the first day, not the second. I later found out that the tea bags on the first day were just to let guests sample Guizhou tea, so the hotel could then sell it. Additionally, breakfast needs to be purchased separately at 10 yuan per person. While it's not expensive, the experience was very poor, and the owner wouldn't even offer it for free after communication. Most importantly, the breakfast was truly unappetizing; the noodles and vermicelli were bland, and the side dishes weren't good either. We definitely chose to eat out on the second day.

This guesthouse boasts a fantastic location right at the foot of the mountain. The rooms are spacious and clean. There's an elevator, and the service was excellent; they even brought umbrellas to greet us on a rainy day. Breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious.

Beautiful environment, right by the road. Parking is convenient with a dedicated lot. The service is attentive; they answer every question. Breakfast is delicious, and it's very close to the scenic area, but not noisy at all.
