Yunfuli Yinsu (Fanjing Shanzhai Shadongzhai Branch)

Facilities: Very new and well-maintained. Hygiene: Clean and meticulous. Environment: Beautiful, unique, with charming bridges over flowing water. Service: The front desk staff, both male and female, were very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. They helped with parking, carried luggage, and even drove to buy medicine when a guest wasn't feeling well. This genuine care was truly touching. Due to my illness, I missed breakfast, but the auntie was very kind and still prepared it for me. Although I couldn't go to the mountaintop this trip because of my health, I will definitely come back and stay at this hotel again.

Seeking a peaceful retreat, I blindly picked 'Yunfuli Hidden Retreat' tucked away in Zhaisha Dong Village for my trip to Fanjingshan, and I was absolutely blown away! The guesthouse's design philosophy is 'return to simplicity,' with its courtyard brimming with plants. The new Chinese-style garden, combined with the traditional Dong stilt houses, makes every photo-op a masterpiece. My favorite part was the tea set in the room; brewing a pot of Fanjing Cuiya with mountain spring water, sitting by the window watching the misty mountains, and listening to the birdsong instantly brought a sense of calm. There's none of the pretentiousness of a star-rated hotel here, only a reassuring 'host culture' and a slow pace of life. It's the perfect place to unwind for the weekend!

Planning to hike Fanjing Mountain, I chose Yunfuli Hidden Stay in Zhaisha Dong Village. Its location is a huge advantage, making the drive to the scenic area's main gate very quick. The guesthouse's overall ambiance is elegant, with a beautifully landscaped courtyard that captures the essence of the Dong village. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, and it's quiet and comfortable to stay in. The owner also kindly shared hiking routes, which made it especially pleasant to relax and recover after the climb.

Location: Nestled within Shazhai Dong Village, the hotel offers direct access to the scenic area, complete with shops and evening bonfire parties. The nearby stream is also perfect for water activities and stream trekking. Service: They provide a very convenient shuttle service to the scenic area and even help with ticket purchases and early entry solutions. The service was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Food: Breakfast was quite exquisite and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for those who want to enter the scenic area early and appreciate a certain level of quality.

This designer guesthouse, nestled in a Dong village, offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby, making it easy to sample authentic Dong cuisine. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

We chose Yunfuli Hidden Stay for our Fanjingshan mountain climb. The location was perfect, right within Zhaisha Dong Village, and it was only a short drive to the scenic area entrance. The owner was very thoughtful, explaining the climbing routes to us. Coming back after the hike to a quiet and peaceful rest was a fantastic experience.

Parking was convenient for those driving, and the location was great, very close to the core area of the Dong village. We could easily step out for a walk in the evening, which was very stress-relieving. Highly recommend!

The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, and they even offered a free shuttle service to the scenic spots, which saved us a lot of hassle. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'm already planning to bring my family here next time.
