The place has so much history and culture - we are privileged to be able to be able to experience it all during our time in Jianshui.
The host (Zhao) is amazing - when we first arrived, he brought us around the place and told us all about it. During our stay, he goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. He even accompanied me to the pharmacy to get some medication. We felt right at home after a day and felt sad to leave.
This place is close enough to the ancient city (7 min by foot). Around the corner, there is a local morning market. It’s small but you could see the hustle and bustle and even pick up some local fruits/food!
Room is not big but it is sufficient and clean. We weren’t confined to our room because the communal area is very inviting. You get to play with the occasional resident cat and dog!
Overall, this is a highly recommended for travelers seeking unique experiences!

We had a very pleasant stay at Fanqi Boutique. We booked three rooms for one night and it was really fantastic. Especially the owner is extremely friendly and makes every wish come true! If you go to Jianshui then definitely go to this hotel. It has everything you need, is good in shape, comfortable, clean and lovely. Thanks for this special stay!

小小門頭下，一家從裡到外都是歷史的民宿，主理人熱情的幫助升到了後院的房間。房間雖然不很大，但到處是細節，衞生和床品也都在線。最後，特別喜歡天井裡的芭蕉葉，陽光撒下來光影浮動的樣子。

設施：非常滿意的榻榻米床，就在路邊非常好找，而且旁邊就是建水小火車車站，巨方便！！！
環境：酒店在路邊，但是院子裏安靜雅緻，在裏面拍照也很出片，如果不是假期，感覺能在院子裏住上一個月。我們房間靠街，關上窗户一點兒聲音都沒有，打開就能聽到樓下熱鬧的叫賣聲，生活氣息濃厚
服務：老闆給我們的推薦都沒有踩雷，而且民宿的早餐卷粉真的好好吃！！！後悔第一天還跑出去吃（˵¯͒〰¯͒˵）老闆還幫我們提行李上樓，送我們到高鐵站，很貼心，本來節假日出來旅遊就怕糟心，選的民宿太棒讓我想多住兩天（可惜沒有那麼多假期）建水真的適合長住，慢慢散心

小院古樸安靜，可以睡到自然醒，感受到了雨打芭蕉閑聽雨和陽光明媚兩重體驗，坐在院裏發呆也很快樂。
離建水古城和米軌小火車都很近，步行即可到達。
邊上弄堂進去還有個挺大的菜市場，喜歡煙火氣的也可以去逛逛。
