Hampton by Hilton Jiaxing Canal

The room was great! We got a free upgrade! It was very spacious with a nice view of the canal from the window. Plus, it's right next to Wanda Plaza, so grabbing a bite to eat was super convenient! The front desk staff were also really helpful and patient, especially since we were traveling with kids and had a lot of requests. Thumbs up!

Big thanks to Meng from the front desk and all the other friendly staff! The hotel even upgraded my room to one with a balcony. Stepping out, I could take in both the city skyline and the canal views. It's the plum rain season, and seeing Jiaxing through the drizzle gave it a unique, classic Jiangnan charm. And to top it off, I absolutely loved the Huangbaobao Guizhou street hotpot downstairs at the hotel – completely exceeded my expectations! The quality of the beef and the authentic Guizhou ingredients had me going back for a second round! What, you think I'm getting off-topic?

Hampton by Hilton has been a consistently opening chain brand in recent years, featuring a standardized format and decor. Its highlight is the high level of smart technology. The service is decent and professional. Although the hotel isn't in the city center, it's conveniently located near Wanda Plaza for dining and shopping. Its riverside location offers a pleasant promenade for walks and jogging. The breakfast is abundant. I'll choose Hampton again for future business trips.

The Hampton Inn has its signature style and offers warm, friendly service. The bed was very comfortable. It was really convenient that I could check the status of the self-service laundry room equipment on the TV or scan a QR code for alerts. Breakfast was good. My only minor complaint this time was that my room didn't face the canal; it was quite close to another building, so I couldn't open the curtains and missed out on a view. On the upside, there's a Wanda Plaza nearby, making it easy to find food.

I spontaneously decided to take a road trip with my parents and booked this hotel the night before. The lobby and rooms were very clean, with a simple yet cozy decor. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was refilled promptly. I especially loved the wontons from the live cooking station – delicious! Overall, the price was well worth the experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area.
