Chalon International Hotel

The hotel environment is nice, and it's a short walk to Nanhu Lake. The hotel staff are very friendly, and I especially want to thank the handsome guy at the front desk on the first night. I twisted my ankle, and he immediately brought me ice water, which helped me feel better and walk the next day.

The room was clean and hygienic, and the toiletries were eco-friendly. Breakfast was abundant with a wide variety of choices. There's plenty of parking both above and below ground, which is very convenient. It's close to Shen Junru's former residence, and only about 300-500 meters from Shen Zengzhi's former residence and the Zicheng (Imperial City) ruins. Excellent!

The location is unbeatable. Whether you're visiting attractions like the Zicheng City and the cathedral lawn or heading to Xiexi Street for shaomai, everything is within walking distance. Hao Gu Pagoda is right across from the hotel, and a morning stroll along the river offers wonderfully fresh air. While the hotel is a bit older, it's well-maintained and very clean. Due to a tight schedule for our onward journey, we asked the front desk if we could have a late check-out. Despite it being a busy holiday period, Ms. Zhuang at the front desk helped us resolve the issue. She even recognized us from a previous stay, which shows a truly commendable level of attentiveness and care.

The location is fantastic, perfect for a city walk right out the door. You can stroll along South Lake, and even take a boat ride, it's super convenient. Breakfast was delicious, and the environment was really pleasant too.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and is spotlessly clean. The service is warm and attentive, and its location right at the entrance of the scenic area makes it incredibly convenient. The hotel restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, all at reasonable prices and delicious. It's definitely a great place for family and friends to gather.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Nanhu Scenic Area. It's just a few minutes' walk across the railway tracks to Wuxiang Temple. The room itself was quite spacious (so much so that voices echoed a bit, meaning the soundproofing wasn't the best), but the TV was surprisingly small. I stayed in Building 1 this time, and the view of Haogu Pagoda from the window was lovely. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the toilet was a smart bidet. Breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but all the essentials were there. My only minor complaint would be about the front desk staff's service – when checking out in the morning, I asked about parking and was told that once scanned, we could leave and re-enter all day. However, when we returned in the afternoon from the scenic area to pick up the car, we were charged. We had to go back to the front desk to rescan (it turns out the scan only grants exit within 30 minutes).

The hotel's location is excellent. We could walk to South Lake and it was also very close to Zicheng Park in the city center. Plus, Xiexijie, known for its famous winter bamboo shoot shaomai, was not far either. The hotel offers a rich breakfast, and parking is convenient, although the two underground parking garages aren't interconnected, so you have to walk a bit above ground to get between them. Overall, I found the service atmosphere at this hotel to be very good, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Jiaxing.
