Very impressed with that hotel and the staff. Good location relatively close to the fortress and on the way to the wall. Plenty of food options around and more within 1 Km around. The staff at the reception were so helpful. No English spoken but with all the apps communication is not a big issue. It just take more time 🤔😅 The room was big. Great bathroom. A lot of space and storage available. Good air conditioning system. Breakfast was simply delicious and every day there were different items available. Not much western food but anyway Chinese food is healthier. Staff there was lovely. The fitness area is a bit minimalist. Self laundry is available and works great. I will return for sure. A Personal tip to people visiting Jiayuguan: I suggest getting to the wall first thing in the morning after breakfast. Taxis is the only option.In July 2024 the price I paid (Meter as usual) was 26 Yuans. After visiting that place take a taxi to the fortress (Jiayu pass) as it is on the way to the city anyway. The cost was 11 Yuans and it is very close to the fortress unlike the main ticket office located 2 Km away (where the bus nr 4 stops). Further tip if you like HotPot restaurants the NanjiaXiang is a great choice at a very reasonable price. It is 800 meters away from the hotel.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant on site was very good. The breakfast restaurant on a different floor was mediocre. The front desk arranged for a driver to take us out to the historic Great Wall sites and he was great and affordable.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city centre. Plenty of shops and convenient stores around. Though we only ate at the restaurant (L3) located in the same building as the hotel which is very handy. Food was delicious. Breakfast is ok. Just a quick bite to keep you going. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms were clean and bed were comfortable. Did an overnight stay as that is sufficient enough for visiting the sights. Would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel! Clean and spacious rooms. The staff are really accommodating and helpful, and had no trouble using translators to communicate. Plenty of water was provided and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast has lots of options. The location was perfect, maybe 25min to the train, 20min to the Fort, 30min to the Great Wall. There was really delicious and cheap food at several restaurants right around the corner from the hotel. The people in Jiayuguan were super kind and helpful too, so we had no trouble ordering at the restaurants despite our lack of Chinese language skills.

Walking to Jingtie Snack City, it is convenient for eating, shopping, and visiting scenic spots. The hotel is clean and hygienic, with free washing and drying machines, which is very convenient for long-distance travel. The breakfast is delicious and rich, and it is cost-effective. It is worth recommending

The experience from check-in to check-out was super great! The girls at the front desk were very nice (the recommended Xiaohua and Dapangzi, Huguo, Xingpi tea, and beef noodles were all delicious, and the hotel location was good, not far from these places). They also upgraded our room (thank you again). The guest rooms were very clean, and the corners of the bathroom were very clean. Whether it was the room staff or the front desk, they would greet the guests and respond to the guests' needs. It was great👍... The shampoo, shower and hand soap in the room all smelled very good, and the most favorite thing was that the pillows were so comfortable (I want to know what brand it is) I almost forgot to mention the breakfast. The restaurant was clean and sanitary, and the dishes were rich! I forgot to take pictures of the guest rooms in a hurry, but I will choose Starway Hotel in the future

This hotel is located in the city center, the service is warm, the room is clean and tidy, the breakfast is rich and colorful. Because we are not familiar with Jiayuguan, we want to go to the city tower and Fantawild, so we went to the front desk to ask the staff, the staff was very patient and careful to guide us, we had a lot of fun, I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel, very nice

The room is well-equipped, clean and sanitary. The staff has a good service attitude. The noodles at Starway are also good. The only drawback is that there are a few parking spaces. Overall, it is still worth recommending.

Overall, the hotel is good. The hotel is located near the bus station. It can be reached by bus from the high-speed rail station, and there is a bus to Jiayuguan Scenic Area not far from the door. The room is tidy and the facilities are good
