Shawanli Sunset Riverview Hotel (Xishuangbanna Jinghong Gaozhuang Starlight Night Market)

Facilities: The design is quite comprehensive, with everything you'd expect. The room is also quite large. There's a mini-fridge, but it's just for show and doesn't contain any drinks. They do provide a packet of dried fruit daily, which I appreciated. Cleanliness: The cleaning was a routine, perfunctory job – not very thorough. They just made the bed and emptied the trash. Environment: Located right by the river, the room was quite damp and had a strong musty smell. Also, getting a taxi was very difficult; I had to walk about 2 kilometers each time to find one. Service: There's an airport pick-up service, but no drop-off. They advertise river views, but not all rooms have them, so be sure to check when booking. We saw reviews from people with the same booking type as ours who said they had a river view, but ours didn't.

Very good! You can see the Lancang River, and the room is large and clean. The cleaning staff were prompt, and the rice noodles for breakfast were delicious. I stayed for 4 nights straight.

This hotel is great. The front desk staff and customer service were very friendly and helpful. The hotel environment is also very nice, and it's convenient to catch a taxi and explore around. The airport transfer driver was excellent, and our whole family had a comfortable stay.

I was very satisfied with the hotel. It's conveniently located for sightseeing and offers pick-up and drop-off services to and from the airport/train station. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Starlight Night Market. The hotel is clean, tidy, and well-equipped. You can directly enjoy river views, and it's close to the Golden Bay Peacock Feast at Yunque and Peacock Tower.

The location is excellent, with river views. Service is decent. The facilities are a bit old, so I wouldn't really consider it a luxury hotel. There's a good variety for breakfast, and the pastries taste pretty good, but the other items are just average.

Excellent! It's clean, right by the river, and they even provide brown sugar and fruit. Plus, it's really close to the night market for a stroll in the evening.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! The room was spacious and very clean, and I loved the smart toilet. It's super close to the Starlight Night Market, and there are tons of dining options nearby. The river view and private hot spring made my two-day stay so comfortable. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends and stay here again if I'm ever back in town. Thumbs up!
