"After visiting Shapotou, I was passing through Jingtai County on my way back when I stumbled upon this hidden gem.
First, the setting: It's beautiful, right on the road. Parking is also convenient. For a tent, it has a private bathroom and air conditioning, which is fantastic.
Now, let's talk about the cultural experience: First, a thumbs-up to the incredibly helpful front desk lady. She greeted us warmly upon arrival, and a helpful man even brought us to our tent. It was a bit chilly on the night of May 2nd, and with a child, the man even helped with adding a blanket.
I can't praise the woman enough. I missed breakfast in the morning (yes, they even included breakfast), and she graciously took me to the staff cafeteria to heat up my food in the microwave, boil water, and borrow a kettle. This May Day trip, I experienced the crowds of Shapotou and the warm hospitality of the snow base. It was a truly wonderful experience. When the weather gets warmer in July and August, I plan to organize a group to continue playing here. Next time, I plan to experience the RV camp and villa camp. By the way, this place also supports roasted whole lamb, which is great. I strongly recommend all the big guys who travel by car to check in here."

There is no accommodation within 30 kilometers of the scenic area. You can either stay in a farmhouse in the scenic area or in Baiyin city. I like to live in a scenic area because it is convenient for sightseeing. I have to say that this farm stay is really great. The boss drove us to help with the luggage, and we took the electric car to the intersection to the scenic area. The room facilities are equipped according to hotel standards. There is even a wall-mounted hair dryer in the bathroom. The meals are also economical and affordable. The Yellow River carp is freshly killed and cooked, and the meat is fresh and tender and delicious. Finally, it’s really cheap…it’s only over 100 yuan in the peak season in August, which is a great deal

Before coming, I communicated with the boss and learned about the fun of the Yellow River Stone Forest Scenic Area. The boss was very enthusiastic and waited for me at the entrance of the village to pick me up and take me into the village. The old couple were very simple and enthusiastic. The next day, the boss drove the car to guide me to the scenic spots with few people. There was no need for tickets, and I could enjoy the original ecological beauty. I will recommend this place to my friends in the future.
