Jiuzhaigou Banshandu Homestay (Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area)

Traveling with kids, the comfort of the room is our top priority, and this B&B was incredibly thoughtful. The family room was very spacious, and the two beds pushed together were perfectly adequate for our family of four. The bedding was clean and soft. The windows were dark system windows, providing excellent sound insulation – we couldn't hear any outside noise at all. The kids especially loved the hidden lighting design under the bed; it was perfect for getting up at night without a harsh glare. There's also a fantastic terrace upstairs, great for the kids to run around. A truly wonderful stay!

The room looks just like the pictures – it's quite new, very clean, and well-equipped. The front desk staff were also very friendly. My kids absolutely loved the bathtub; it filled up super fast, much better than many other hotels! It's very close to the Jiuzhaigou scenic area entrance; after checking out in the morning, it only took us 12 minutes to walk there. Plus, there's a commercial area right downstairs, probably the most commercial spot in Jiuzhaigou, which was incredibly convenient. We even tried the popular Himalaya restaurant nearby, and the food was delicious.

Extremely noisy, but service, room, and location are all good. It's just incredibly loud at night when trying to sleep. All sorts of noises from midnight until 6 AM. Ugh. 😑

The hotel is super close to the scenic area. I was a bit worried at first, especially since we were staying for two nights. When I first saw the hotel sign, I was a little put off, thinking it was going to be a bust and looked like some obscure corner hotel. But once inside, I found the room to be very cozy and comfortable. Plus, Zangwang Square is right next door, which is very commercialized and super convenient.

The B&B is right by the Zangwangyanwu parking lot. If you take a car to the Moon Bay parking lot, it's just a few minutes' walk, which is very convenient. The B&B's sign is large and easy to spot. The location is also excellent, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It's about a 20-minute leisurely walk to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou. My room here was a suite with a connecting door between the two rooms, which was pretty good. I just wanted to suggest that perhaps a TV, a sofa, and a clothes rack could be added to the outer room as well. The scenery in Jiuzhaigou is truly magnificent!

Version 2: Balanced (objectively describing pros and cons) "The hotel's location is good, with a quiet surrounding environment, making it relatively convenient for getting around. The overall cleanliness of the room was good, and although the facilities aren't new, they are well-maintained. The service staff were friendly and responsive to requests. The only minor drawback was the slightly poor sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the corridor. If this could be improved, the overall experience would be better. All in all, it's worth the price." Version 3: Critical (for a rather poor experience) "My experience during this stay was quite mediocre. Firstly, the sound insulation of the room was really disappointing; I could clearly hear noises from next door, which affected my rest. Secondly, some facilities were a bit old, differing from the pictures advertised online. Regarding hygiene, the details need improvement, as I found dust in the corners. I hope the hotel can put more effort into its hardware and maintenance; currently, this quality does not meet expectations."

An excellent B&B! The location and service were fantastic. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. I was lucky enough to meet one of the front desk staff, who was as beautiful inside and out as the scenery of Jiuzhaigou.

An extremely satisfying stay! The environment was fantastic, with magnificent mountain views right outside the window and door – clear blue skies, white clouds, and majestic peaks all in sight. The room had a minimalist, natural wood design, excellent lighting, and a spacious, airy feel. It was meticulously clean, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing.
