We had a lovely time at this homestay. From the minute we were picked up from our hotel, Chotharam was most informative & helpful. He provided excellent communication prior to our visit. It was lovely meeting & spending time with his family. The attention to detail in the accommodation was excellent. The food was all delicious too. We purchased a hand woven rug from him, and he shipped it home for us saving us extra weight on the rest of our trip. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this homestay and meeting the family, as lovely way to leave busy cities behind.

Rien d'un homestay traditionnel, à part la gastronomie. Huttes neuves, avec tout le confort moderne, mais est-ce vraiment ce que l'on recherche en venant ici? Vue sur les jeeps de la famille. Accueil sympa seulement si vous acceptez les très chères activités qu'ils proposent (en revanche celles qui étaient prévues ne sont plus au programme !!!). De plus, les activités sont réalisées aux horaires qui les arrangent, sans prendre en compte votre planning à vous (on a donc loupé le coucher de soleil pourtant inclus). Le safari en jeep n'a rien d'un safari: on vous emmène chez deux artisans pour vous soutirer encore un peu plus d'argent, dans une famille soit disant Bishnoi avec un cérémonial bidon, et on roule dans un soit disant désert (en réalité au pied de l'autoroute) pour apercevoir une pauvre gazelle... Fuyez, il y a tellement plus authentique en Inde!

Wonderful host family clean and comfortable huts with full modern bathrooms and Air Conditioning. The breakfasts, lunch, and dinners were all superb. Village safari by host was fun and very interesting. Cooking class also enjoyed greatly.

I had a very pleasant stay. the places are really typical. the hosts are pleasant and welcoming. the meal is local and of very good quality. the village is typical, the people are beautiful and smiling. I highly recommend this passage through the huts! see you soon, I hope

Très bel accueil dans cette famille! La hutte est spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bain, le tout est très bien entretenu. Magnifique expérience que la cuisine avec Mamata, douce, joyeuse, attentionnée et le résultat délicieux, un moment fort de notre voyage. Merci !

Der Aufenthalt bei Chhotaram und Mamita war das beste auf meiner 10-Wochen-Indienreise, was mir passieren konnte, Authentisch, genussvoll, natürlich. Ich fühlte mich sehr willkommen und verbunden. Ist sehr zu empfehlen! Idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Jodhpur zu entdecken.

C'est un havre de paix ! là bas on échappe aux bruits et à l'effervescence de Jodhpur. La vie au sein de cette famille est simple, chaleureuse et bienveillante. Il y a aussi mille choses à faire, des ballades dans la campagne à la recherche de gazelles tout en ***geant des baies, des cours de yoga et de cuisines. Nous recom***dons vivement !

Its a unique place and more of an experience than a comfort stay. Its not designed for locals and will be enjoyed by NRIs or Foreigners as it shows the local village experience of Rajasthan. If a local want to visit, they have to make sure to consider it as an experience as there are limited services in this village experience. The road to the village is very bad and its not in jodhpur, its outside jodhpur 30-40 mins drive. Once reached, you will be treated well by the host as a guest and they will treat you as a family. As an NRI who lost the touch of traditional indian village, my family enjoyed the stay. I would suggest it as 1-2 nights experience and not more.
