Hotelier Hosts - A Home Stay

Delicious Home cooked food, both North &South Indian dishes. Mr. Surender knows how to take care of his guests as he is an ex hotelier. And the best part is since he is a localite he knows all the best places of visit in Jodhpur. But touristy sposts and a bit off beaten track. Best part is you can walk to Mehrangarh Fort. Its just a 3-4 kms leisurely walk. The rooms are spacious and we'll kept. He has taken a special care towards cleanliness. The rooms are tastefully done. Overall we has an excellent stay and would recommend it to anyone who visits Jodhpur.

It's really super safe Home Stay. The vibe was homely. I must say it’s an awesome accommodation in peaceful surroundings, specially for a Single Lady Traveller. I really loved the location, food, host family, balcony, dining patio, huge terrace area, lobby and the spacious rooms. The common area is huge, with lots of different rooms. They organise tours frequently that are definitely worth going to. I haven't seen such a pretty place for fun and hangout. In fact 2 children from host’s family gave me a good company to plan the city sightseeing. I will recommend to all the solo or single lady travellers; you must come to this place for a safe and fun filled stay in Blue City Jodhpur.

It’s a quiet property at a great location but it packs a punch with the decor, safety and most importantly the staff was so nice. A lot of space for sitting in common areas and with an awesome view from it's terrace area. Last but not the least the food; a true gastronomic delight. Tried Rajasthani Daal, Baati, Churma for the first time and I almost ate my fingers. An excellent place that I would be glad to return to.

The room was very clean and of good size. From the terrace or balcony one'll get a good view. Very well maintained terrace was there. Homestay had CCTV secured ample parking space. Host is very polite and very much well behaved. He had helped us a lot in terms of planning our sightseeing. My sister was suffering from cold and host was kind enough to serve “Kadha” for cold - twice a day and that also without any charge. Food quality was awesome. Most important: auto service can be booked through Home stay itself.

Tucked away in a serene setting, this homestay is managed by Mr. Surendra, a seasoned professional with a background in high-end hotel management. His exceptional hospitality began even before our arrival, as he maintained continuous contact to ensure a smooth journey to his residence. Despite our train’s late arrival at midnight, Mr. Surendra’s diligent communication and the warm welcome from the caretaker, Mr. Suman, made us feel at ease. Mr. Suman’s politeness and attentiveness ensured our comfort, even in the late hours. Our brief stay in Jodhpur was enriched by Mr. Surendra’s expertly crafted one-day tour itinerary, which highlighted all the must-see locations. He also recommended the best spots for shopping and dining, and took the time to share fascinating stories and insights with us. Embodying the spirit of “Athithi Devo Bhava” (The guest is equivalent to God), Mr. Surendra graciously insisted on preparing a packed breakfast for our early departure, despite our protests. His dedication to hospitality was evident as he had personally handed over the packed breakfast and saw us off in the morning. The meals, crafted in the homestay’s kitchen by the gracious family members, were a culinary delight, evoking the essence of home-cooked perfection. We indulged in both breakfast and dinner, which were exceptional. Additionally, the considerate gesture of a packed breakfast for our early morning travels was a thoughtful touch that was much appreciated. The care and affection we received from Mr. Surendra and Mr. Suman were reminiscent of familial bonds, a rarity in today’s world. Their perfect blend of hosting and caretaking made our stay unforgettable. It left us longing for an additional day to bask in their exemplary hospitality. This homestay, surpassing many five-star hotels, comes with my highest recommendation. Best wishes!

Probably the nicest Home Stay I’ve ever stayed at and in fact extended my stay for 2 more nights. It’s an island of calm and tranquility. The service is impeccable, everything is clean, the restaurant is amazing (especially for the dinner) and the commodities are amazing. The serenity of this place is perfect. You will enjoy the calmness and hospitality.

The place is very nice. 10 on 10 for cleanliness and food. This was my second visit.Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I travelled with my 6 months baby and the experience was again amazing. I got all the help i needed. Thats the reason I chose the place for the second time.

V nice and homely stay with some amazing food and excellent host. Proximity to all locations is also good and very safe place for women and kids. We had a great time and would recommend to all to try. The other families we met were also great. Good luck to Surendar and family
