This hotel was chosen as a midpoint before going up from Nagano to Niigata city. It is a hotel with a lot of history. I stayed in the main building, and it definitely felt old. It was clean enough that there were no problems with accommodation. It didn't seem like there were many guests because of its location, but the service was good, and breakfast was not buffet style, but a set meal, but it was quite neat and the taste was good.

This is a hotel that has been open for more than a hundred years. It is just opposite Naoetsu Station. It has convenient transportation and good services. There are rice and bread options for breakfast, coffee, tea, and water are self-service. Side dishes include vegetarian salad + freshly made cheese egg rolls + bacon + 2 sausages. I think it's the only hotel where you can stay decently near Naoetsu Station. I checked in around 23:00, but the staff was very nice. I felt that the building itself was old, but the rooms were clean as usual, and it would be perfect for a one-night stay. thank you very much.
