The day I checked in someone opened the door while I was naked inthe shower.I was really scared then I jumped and slipped and hurt my toes. They don't help with luggage.If you are carrying heavy luggage you have to carry it up and down the stairs if you are staying upstairs .Also to get to the reception there are High steps. I did not enjoy my stay

Exceeded expectations, no matter the price and service, I am satisfied with all aspects, clean and hygienic, the front desk service attitude is very good, the location is also good, it is very convenient to go out, the surrounding area is a prosperous area, but there are snacks and a small supermarket next to it, and a Carrefour supermarket is opposite , it is worth staying again.

This hotel has a lovely old-school vibe with large rooms. As an IHG high level member I was upgraded to a very large room where I could easily do my work without feeling cramped. The hotel has done a great job of maintaining a contemporary vibe while retaining some of the historic architecture and design of the place. The staff are lovely and in addition to being quite personable they also just ran the hotel seamlessly. My comment on the food is for any global medium or high-end chain that doesn't have plant-based items on the menu. They should have them. What guests expect in terms of quality, variety, and healthiness has changed over the past 20 years.

Literally my only go to place in Johannesburg. The serene environment and friendly customer service from the team is always top notch, I was here for a whole two weeks hosting guests for a conference and the team really outdid themselves. Hiding away in a wooded area in Houghton, the hotel is next to some of the University of the Witwatersrand's faculties. The main building is a beautiful old house dating from 1985 that was once also the home of Lord Milner. This great property is supported by a professional staff team that perfectly augments the property. I felt right at home, and spending time to meet some of my clients in the afternoon and evening in their lounge was not only a very comfortable setting, but the staff was attentive and friendly. It was, in summary, a memorable experience that left me with wonderful memories.

Normal we stay at woodmead but this time we selected this place. This is a beautiful building with a big location. Roomare spacious and very clean way better than express. The best part is they have bathtub. Beds were good and room had amazijg view. The location is very near to CBD . This is a big campus. It's properly gated with security guard. Overall it was very good location. It has a good ball room, lounge, a pub and nice resturant. We liked the lounge area where there is a big piano. The food was good and brekfast was also amazing. Staff was very courteous and very helpfull. Overall we loved our stay here. Highly recommended.
