Not happy with the quality and cleanliness of this place. Best Western has lowered its standards and raised its price. The room was not clean, the whole place is in need of an update, it’s very dark in the rooms. We stay Holiday Inns/Best Westerns and this was the saddest place for a long time.

Just a quick overnight visit. Clean room; nice breakfast. Appeared to be ‘the’ place for business travelers, based on the number of business vehicles in their lot. If in John Day again, would definitely stay here.

The Best Western in John Day was great. The exercise equipment worked well. The breakfast was tasty (we had biscuits and gravy, and eggs). The room was clean and orderly. The staff was friendly and courteous. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub! The hotel is located centrally in downtown, and there are restaurants within walking distance.
