This property never disappoints. So many things to do on site. Beautiful gardens, so much wildlife, amazing trails, tennis, pools and health club. The Guest Houses are such a unique place to stay with everything you would need. The restaurants are also some of the best! They have a small cafe with the best pastries, bread, coffee. They also have a full buffet in the main restaurant. Late night snacks in the bar area and then a wonderful dinner menu in the main dining room. Bring your bike for all the biking trails. They also offer so many tours to choose from for the week. You can meet the cows, birding, cooking, yoga, too many things to list. I can't wait to go back.

TSOM fans will love staying in this historic lodge in a beautiful, peaceful Stowe setting. Pricey, but that's to be expected for this unique travel experience. We enjoyed our visit to this charming place.

My girls took me to the Trapp Family Lodge for a girl’s getaway for my 75th birthday. We were NOT disappointed. The prime rib dinner was exceptional but the breakfast buffet was disappointing for the price. The pools, hot tub, messages and the Trapp Family History tour were awesome. I only wish I went years ago when Maria was alive. We met Christina Von Trapp - what a lovely hospitable lady. I image she learned this personality trait from her grandmother. I’m still in awe of the family history and I’m glad I had my CD to play and sing along with the Sound of Music soundtrack! Loved the trip!!!

We did not stay at the resort. However, we did visit the Lodge for lunch at the beer hall. We were a group of 13 travelers and our bill was approximately $550 when only ordering sandwiches and beer. The service was great especially considering the size of our party. It was a nice environment, good for all ages, and a nice place to visit if nearby in Vermont. This has made it on my list of places to visit again. Next time, it will just be adults and more of a ‘grab a beer’ visit. Oh, and they have a great selection of beer to go. So, you can easily restock your fridge with your favorite.

The reservation was difficult but willing to make the most of it. When it was time to go to sleep we unfolded the sleep sofa and found dirty (bodily fluid) sheet. Just gross!

Beyond my expectations! A fabulous resort. So much to see and do. Views are unbelievable. Really good beer and brats brewery tour is really impressive. History of the family is so interesting. We will be back. Dining is first class. Fun to see all the animals on the property.

We stayed one night and really enjoyed the setting with all the mountains surrounding us. Nice room recently renovated. My daughter had a nice swim in the morning at the fitness center
