Overnight winter getaway for an older couple, splurged on a room with a fireplace and a whirlpool bath. Very relaxing and comfortable. One of the chairs in the room was in terrible condition, worn out years ago. The rustic atmosphere throughout the hotel was very well done. Excellent breakfast.

There were bugs by the hot tub, hot tub was still dirty inside, staff was not at desk to help and when she did come back she was sarcastic and rude

We enjoyed the fireplace and sofa area in the lobby. We also brought our own meal food and enjoyed the availability of the dining area to have our meals in.

I used to be an inspector for hotel cleanliness when I was working and staying here was nice because the room was clean. The breakfast they served here was great. The front desk was very helpful.

Cabin atmosphere was cool. Pool area atmosphere was cool but chlorine was so heavy it was unpleasant and hard to breathe, several visitors had skin rash from the chlorine. Breakfast was less than average- Saturday they did have biscuits and gravy but only had biscuits on Sunday. There was a spread of breakfast items but low quality, serve staff were not welcoming. There was 1 front desk staff Saturday evening that said hi to everyone and asked how their evenings were. Cozy fire place areas. Has tons of potential to really great with a good cleaning and some updates as well as improved breakfast dining.
