On recent two stays there was no WiFi I strongly recommend to avoid staying here all the staff are demoralised and unhappy working there.

Special mention to Lisa, Reception at the Hotel Front Office for her warm and welcoming service. The staff at the front office are friendly and nice. Meldrum hotel is located in the city center and their rooms are clean, comfortable, good service and nicely budget. We stayed in their standard suite room (contact hotel for reservation) it’s very nice and newly renovated (see pictures).

This hotel is very good value for money, and the location is also very good. City Square and Johor Bahru Sentral are very close and within walking distance. We booked a premium double room with bathroom and it was much bigger than I expected. There is good wifi and an elevator. There are also many restaurants (even halal ones) and 24-hour convenience stores near the hotel. Because we arrived from Kuala Lumpur to Johor Bahru earlier than expected, but it was a great pleasure to be able to check in at 6 am.
