Z Hotel Johor Bahru

I can say it’s a very strategic location hotel, just walking distance to famous tourist spots & Singapore just opposite the sea. JB Sentral just behind the hotel, can either drive or take train from KL to JB, travel around JB by ur own car or grab around. Free parking available is an advantage as not easy to find parking at this area.

Nice view.. i req for quite room and got lvl 20.. so comfortable,room sgt2 sejuk.. service full tip top.. i extend for 2 nights🥰🥰

1 star for cleanliness - the room and the floor hallways smelled like cigarette smoke, seems like the tenants/patrons here smoke in their rooms and this was not properly removed or no smoking rules were not implemented. The only saving grace is the location, near to the Causeway.

First time here. Hotel looks dated but we were upgraded to a huge 3-bedder which was a lovely surprise. Room had water, coffee, and tea. Bathroom is quite old, towels worn out and the trash bin rusted. Staff members were wonderful — front desk and car park security were so friendly. Secured free parking via car lift is a big plus. Can be rowdy at night from the nearby coffee shop. Really good value for money overall.

This is our 2nd stay at this place. The first time we took a bus to customs and walk over. This time we drove in and was a bit unsure if we can even park there. When arrival we park at the front and alert the front desk. Was advice to check in first before someone will guide us to park our car. Was pleasantly impressed that this nice boutique hotel has a car lift that can even park some cars. Upon check out we need to alert the front desk to activate their guard to meet us at the car park floor beforehand so that we can drive our car into the car lift. Overall it’s a very nice stay. Nice unblock view. The only setback is the walk from the hotel to the customs with luggage is not going to be convenient especially during rainy weather.

This was my second time staying here. I had to book last minute due to a sudden matter in JB, but the front desk staff was so kind—he gave me a high-floor room with a beautiful view. Highly recommended!

Always a pleasure to be staying in Z hotel for its superb location to eateries and shopping malls. First off, the car lift. Good experience for those that never try before. Room was clean. Was given level 20 so the view was 👍. Room came with amenities, water and drinks (tea and coffee).
