Very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. It's also very strategically located within shopping centre like JB City Square and eateries. Buffet breakfast spread is good too for families.

my go to hotel in jb for a short gateway & has never once disappoint. from customer service to amenities to room itself, everything is perfect the way it is!

The service was good. Room not very spacious but clean. I love their breakfast spread! Parking is a bit nuisance because need to go up until level 7 to reach the hotel parking. But location wise near to all food eateries and shops inside the mall. Its very convenient.

The central location is amazing if you want to be close to the CIQ, and yet enjoy the shopping spread offered by Komtar and City Square. The hotel is connected to Komtar and accessed via the 7th floor. Breakfast is not great and i don’t recommend it.

For an impromptu weekend getaway, the location is fantastic - it’s connected to the JB checkpoint, so for those traveling from Singapore, you won’t even need to take a cab at all. The hotel is also linked to two malls with plenty of food options and shops, and it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to a neighborhood with some cafes and local food.
However, the amenities leave much to be desired. We got the hotel breakfast with our room, and it was nothing like other IHG hotel breakfasts. The food ran out very early on and wasn’t topped up at all. Nothing more disappointing than wasting calories on a getaway. There are plenty of amazing local food options around.
The room was fairly clean and the kettle was brand new, so yay. The bed was also very comfortable and up to IHG standards.
