Check-in staff wanted additional RM10 for a 'foreigner fee' and told me its hotel requirement but later 'wavied off' for me after I questioned him further. Room was old, dirty with spider webs and old bedsheets. Tv was not functioning and no towel. When I went down to counter and ask for towels, staff said hotel has ran out of it.

Be kind to yourself and AVOID this hotel at all cost. Do not be fooled by the photos provided by the hotel management on this application. The hotel is in a horrendous state and I’m wondering why it is still allowed to operate. - Carpeted whole throughout the foyer was dusty and smells of dead rat - Found strands of hair and crumbs of food on pillows - Mouldy and peeling walls and ceiling - Bath towels are smelly The list goes on.

I wasn't expecting much, I don't need a bathtub, a fridge or even a TV for that matter, just a clean room with clean sheets would do. But basic hygiene wasn't there at all. Shower mixer was broken so we couldnt use the shower head, rain shower head was leaky and dripped the whole night, wall were mouldy, there was a recycled plastic bottle filled with "white stuff" in toilet, walls of the room were painted around the bed, leaving outline of the bed on the wall, floor was sticky and covered with drips of white stuff, empty bottles and paper seen on floor, a whole stash of rubbish ranging from underwear to bottles and plastics found under the bed, room smelt of cigarettes, bedsheets had white spots, and corridor had piles of bedsheet/towels thrown in corners making the already un-air-conditioned corridor even more humid and smelly.

For around MYR50 it is worth it. Toothbrush and kettle are provided. King size bed Lot of restaurants nearby Carpet on stairs should be vacuumed to enhance the cleanliness. Tv channel, only tv3 or the remote was faulty?
