There's alot to talk about on this hotel experiemce.
Firstly, upon arrival, bellboy was friendly and opened the door for us. However the service spiral down immediately at the front desk. The front desk did not take note of my special request for my husband's birthday. Even when i mentioned to them again, they ignored and said that its not their job to look into it and push it to reservations and housekeeping whereby infact, they are the first contact point for us when we reached so why should we look for other staffs whereas they should have assisted to check for us instead? That was an utter disappoin**ent despite them knowing of the request.
Secondly, upon checking in to the room, to out horror, the toilet stank and whats worst is, the aircon was super hot. I believe outside is much more breezier than inside of the room. We had to even purchase our own fan to sleep to avoid getting a dissatisfied answer again from the staff.
Thirdly, we had requested for late checkout before arriving and also upon arrival. As per mentioned by the front desk officer to check on the morning during our check out day. Yet, when i called in the morning , a lady picked up the call and straight away said no as she said "there are big corporate people coming" so, does it mean that we as a customer are not valued the same as those "big corporate people"? Upon hearing, i was so shocked. I believe she could have handled it better and in a more professional way.
This is the first and the LAST time that i will patronise this "luxury hotel" i would rate this hotel a 1 out of 5 stars. Its either you train your staff well else this hotel would not last long. Was excited to try out this new hotel apart from KSL but NEVER AGAIN. No wonder rooms are quite empty. They bait you with the classy interior of the lobby but in fact, its just like a shabby hotel with low service.
