Every hotel needs a Katie! I checked in, and she was so friendly, personable, and genuinely so excited to meet my pets. I instantly felt at ease knowing I wasn't going to be seen as a burden because I was traveling alone with my furry companions. This is the first time I've seen guest stick around and chat with a front desk agent for several minutes after check-in. She was able to efficiently mutli-task by handing welcome bags, answering phones, and making each guest feel special by personalizing the conversation and showing genuine interest. I went down for breakfast, and I asked the lady at the front to confirm Katie's name because I knew this high-level service needed to be praised shared with others. The rooms also have little details that demonstrate the house keeping staff care about their work, and it shows the management team allows them to actual clean instead of turning rooms over as fast as possible. Well done, Katie! You're a rock star, a leader of exemplary customer service, and as a manager in a different profession, I was highly impressed! If you're staying in Joliet, I highly recommend this spot. 🥳
