Jolly Beach Antigua - All Inclusive

Best beach on the island. All staff were amazing. Food was excellent. Older resort but room was clean and we were only in room to shower and sleep. It rained one entire day but staff did their best to not let that spoil everyone’s trip.

We loved the beach, and the food was amazing. The rooms were definitely in need of some super updating and care. The AC units needs replaced completely, but luke i said thw food and staff were great.

Jolly Beach Resort is a project in the works, but for the price and location, it cannot be beat. Staff, overall were friendly, a few could use an attitude adjustment. The room was perfect for our needs, we didn't expect anything fancy and things like WiFi and outlets are often limited at original Caribbean beach-like destinations. Food was not anything extraordinary, but there were many options to choose from and no reason for one to go hungry. The location was beautiful and overall the grounds were well kept. I would recommend Jolly Beach to anyone wanting a nice, but simple stay on a beautiful beach. Thank you to the staff for an enjoyable stay!!!

Front desk staff incredibly rude

Just don’t. Pay more and go somewhere else. We just returned from a weeklong stay & I find it very difficult to share anything positive except the stretch of beach in front of the property - it was absolutely beautiful. The hotel needs a massive renovation. The staff needs to be trained on Customer service. No upkeep of the grounds. Our bathroom did not even have a door instead an old shower curtain. The property honestly should be a reflected as a two star property. So disappointing. The pics in the advertisements do not reflect what you will see. Too much to list. We spent most of our time away from resort because it was so dismal & the majority of staff was one star.

The staff and the beach make this resort so special!. The resort is older and in need of some TLC, however, the beds were so comfy and we spent very little time in our room so it didn’t matter! The food was always good with good variety. The staff is sooo pleasant and friendly - always smiling and up for a fun chat! The beach is top notch. Stunning!

We were pleasantly surprised how wonderful our stay was at this hotel after reading quite a number of very negative reviews. We did upgrade to a superior king room on the back of these reviews and it had everything we needed. Bed was amazingly comfy, a/c good, fridge we did have to unplug at night as quite noisy and bathroom met our needs. They provide 2 bars of soap and tubes of shampoo and conditioner that is enough for 2 people to last a week. There is 1 UK plug socket in the room and 1 European so good idea to bring an extension lead to save using adapters. No problem in getting fresh towels and toilet paper if need it and we enjoyed the privacy of not having the room cleaned. The buffet food was of high quality and normally plenty of choice if you don’t leave it too late to eat. In fact we preferred the buffet to the Pizza Factory. The cocktail menu was vast and they’ll always mix anything for you. The perfect end to our day on the beach was watching the amazing sunsets with a cocktail at the long bar! As everyone else has mentioned the beach is beautiful and during our stay there was always a choice of sun beds, probably the only hotel I have stayed at where you don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve your beds! Staff were all amazing, I couldn’t fault their friendly service. There is a tours desk and the staff are very helpful when booking excursions. Evening entertainment was a steel band one night, a great singer another and a DJ for the rest of the week. There was always a reason to get up and dance! Please give this hotel a chance, as long as you go with 3star expectations you won’t be disappointed. In our view for the price you pay compared to other hotels, you are getting great value for money.

Fab stay again, improvements at the hotel continue the new long bar is a great addition and shout out to the lads making delicious cocktails ...whatever you can think of there. Rooms are still small but adequate and views are still to die for . This was my second vist and will definitely be back. Food is much better then previous vist, staff as usual friendly and helpful. It was my 50th birthday over there and they all joined in the fun. Thanks to reception once again for sorting out our room request so appreciated BIG THANKS. For anyone looking for airport runs , shirley heights trips etc get in touch with Keith or Mervyn off the beach very reliable and good prices. Ignore the negative reviews the hotel is good he beach magnificent , grab it while it's still reasonably priced

Beach was the best again. Hotel was better than 10 years ago. Pool & bar food shut. Pool was drained and workers started on chipping tiles away causing dust everywhere. I understand that work needs to be done but we should have been notified before going.
