This lovely spot has exceeded my already high expectations. Stunning views, friendly and attentive service, all perched on what is arguably the best beach on the island. Come here for an uncrowded, low-key luxury vibe. The included breakfast in the clubhouse was icing on the cake. Paradise!

Tamarind Hills is a really special place - 5 star luxury, 5 star privacy and 5 star place to relax and have a chilled beach holiday away from the crowds. We don't like packed and noisy resorts and wanted somewhere exclusive and private to spend our holidays... Tamarind delivered all that and more - loved our stay and will be back soon.

The most incredible resort- amazing beaches, beautiful people and perfect accommodation.It really has everything that one needs for a very memorable holiday - highly recommended. The beaches and resort are paradise and exceptionally well run by a very professional team

Beautiful modern property, spacious well-appointed rooms, gorgeous views and gracious staff. Traveled for a long weekend getaway and Tamarind Hills proved to be the perfect place for relaxation. Ideally situated right on Ffryes Beach, which was never crowded, and short walk to Darkwood Beach. Food and drinks were delightful, from breakfast to lunch/dinner at Wild Tamarind. We didn't rent a car, but were able to enjoy in a short walk Dennis Beach bar, Aunty Cavell's and Sheer Rocks.

Pros:
•stunning views and lovely beach
•several great waitress and bar staff, such as Brittany, Gavisha, and Kemet (Adriano at desk was very helpful)
•aesthetically beautiful bathroom
•offering of in-room spa services
•Snapper tacos, whole snapper, lamb chops snd the steak dinner were good
Cons/Suggestions:
When you’re on vacation it’s the little details that matter, like…
•asking a guest if they they want taste the wine before you pour a glass
•covering the juice at the breakfast bar (as one might expect, there are many bugs/flies)
•waitstaff knowing the menu (eg: ceviche comes with chips—one waitress said they didn’t have them, another said they did, the chef confirmed this)
•staff communication on stock of items (front desk asked that we call the restaurant for cigars; they in turn said they used to have them, but no longer do)
•robes reminiscent of a hospital gown and only one had a belt provided
•give guests more than one set of towels per person and when requested, actually bring them to the room (had to go to the front desk to follow up after 3 hrs of waiting)
Can’t say we’ll never return, as it’s a beautiful property. We’ll need to gauge the experience we’re seeking and temper expectations before coming again.

Thanks Tamarind Hills for another glorious stay. What a great job you have done developing the place… it looks terrific. The restaurant was fantastic- particularly the mahi mahi, fish tacos & tuna tartare.
