Thanks Tamarind Hills for another glorious stay. What a great job you have done developing the place… it looks terrific. The restaurant was fantastic- particularly the mahi mahi, fish tacos & tuna tartare.

Beautiful resort, lovely beach and pool area, delicious breakfast. Kemet is a standout employee, Whitney a sweet part of our morning routine! Managers present daily to inquire about our stay, though was not asked at checkout by the desk agent. Highly recommend if you can handle the stairs to the villa it is worth the view and beautiful room!

Our driver Shaine was amazing as was Gavisha "Trouble" in the main restaurant. The rest of the staff was also very lovely and gave us great recommendations on local places to eat. Nafudn at the front desk was great and helpful as well. The hotel and grounds are very nice but beware if you are staying in any suites high up on the hill - the walk is unbearable but luckily they can drive you up to your suite. Lunch and dinner was ok with limited options and very small portions while being pricey - probably main reason we only ate at the hotel handful times for dinner. Breakfast wasn't great either with limited options. Also limited amount of sunbeds with shade on the beach so if you do not get there early, then you are out of luck. We were also berated by a women claiming because she had bought a villa at Tamarind Hills she should always have a selection of sunbeds and the area of sunbeds with shade are hers - which was false and no one from the resort told us anything about that.

Le site de l’hôtel est exceptionnel, tel qu’on peut en voir en carte postale : ciel d’azur, sable fin, mer nuancée de bleu, allant du marine jusqu’au turquoise, bien sûr bordée de palmiers se balançant mollement au gré de la brise. Et la température de l’eau, un délice ! Pour couronner le tout, une cuisine tout aussi exceptionnelle ! Le chef Antoine est un véritable artiste. Ses plats sont autant de surprises qui flattent nos papilles avec délice. Il a su nous surprendre en particulier par les sauces qui réhaussent la finesse de ses mets. Ce chef créatif sait ainsi perpétrer le patrimoine français jusque dans nos assiettes… avec vue sur l’océan.

The accommodations are superb, and the views cannot be beaten. Ffryes Beach is glorious and pristine — sand is cool under bare feet! Our villa spares nothing in appointments and comfort. However, the highlight of this resort is its staff. Excellent to a fault for sure — everyone! From the head administrators, to cooks, bartenders, and cleaning staff. Every little wish or desire is discovered and covered.

Beautiful views. Massive amount of mountain climbing to get to and from the room. Shower was clogged the entire week of our stay. Chef was polite. The woman that checked us in was polite. Food was insanely overpriced, extremely small TINY portions, extremely limited options, accommodating at first but after the second meal special requests, even due to allergies, just seemed to be annoying. Obviously everyone is on island time, but there were multiple instances daily where we ordered things and just flat out never got them and upon asking would find out that it was just forgotten. Peaceful property. Quiet location. Not really near any shopping, outside dining, etc. Taxis to St John’s were over $120. TONS of bugs, bring bug spray!!
OH and the amount on your receipt at check out is NOT what they will charge your card. They will absolutely upcharge your card after you check out and leave the property.

They are not ready for guests. Failure to launch is the best way to put it. The wait times for food was absurd. Not enough chairs or towels for the beach. And the flies were so bad, you couldn’t eat.

I realized I never wrote a review from our stay last spring break and we had a wonderful stay. We went with 2 families and both had 2 bedroom villas. We cooked our own meals most of the time but loved we had the option for the restaurant. We went boating and had a blast. Beautiful and quiet

The view was amazing! We stayed in the beach 3 suite. However DO NOT EAT at the resort. The food was horrible. When you get drunk off the lobster bisque …. Learning it had cognac in it after the fact.,,, and no lobster. -0 at best is what I can rate the food. Filet coming out rare like it was cooked like tuna then asking them to cook it to medium only for it to be put in the microwave and cooked well done…. And then paying $300 for the meal….. get a new chef…… But plan on them nickel and dimeing you for everything. Paper towels and water should be the minimum provided for the week when paying close to $2000 a night. A recommendation to the hotel……. You should provide a shuttle to and from the grocery store or to the harbor for restaurants when it’s only five minutes. Also someone should be answering calls from the what’s app to the front desk at all hours since this is your only contact with the resort. But our view was amazing we only wish the food and service were as amazing.
