Fint tradionellt badhotell med fint spa och god mat. Rummen var helt ok, men det var en giantisk walk in closet som hade varit trevligare om den ytan användes till en soffa istället. När vi skulle byta om på spat fanns det ingen dusch i omklädningsrummet vilket var lite märkligt. Brandlarmet gick också när vi var där, pga en hårtork som hade överhettats, så hela vistelsen upp och ner. I restaurangen var maten suveränt god så kocken gjorde sitt jobb, men dessvärre inte serveringspersonalen. Fick be om meny efter en kvart, be om att få beställa efter suttit med menyn i ca 20 min och sedan dukade de inte av tallrikarna när vi ätit upp utan de stod kvar på bordet väldigt länge tills att vi lämnade bordet och gick fram och betalade eftersom ingen personal kom till bordet.
Vi frågade också om hotellets historia, men ingen i personalen hade läst på och kunde berätta något.

Fantastisk miljö och servicen var kanon.
Jag saknade dock värme i de torra utrymmena i Spaavdelningen. Det kunde tex vara värme i kopparkaren och sängarna. När badrockarna blir blöta fryser man lite och vill gärna få värme även där utan att behöva bada eller basta.
Middagen får inte toppbetyg då förrätten inte var ätbar (torr carpaccio som satt fast i tallriken) och det var lång väntan på maten.
Trots ovan är vi väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse.

I arrived with a motorcycle 3 hours before the check-in time, on a very hot day, and i was boiling inside my gear. I asked if i can change clothing and leave all my MC gear to their luggage room, and that suited them well. I also got instructions to a nearby beach to spend time on a hot day, that was a great tip! The hotel has a free parking, and as a MC owner they also said that the gate to the parking is closed during nights, which i highly appreciate.
But lets take a moment to talk about the interior design and the spa of the hotel, OMG, I Loved it! First of all, you feel like living in a royal mansion, back in 19th hundred. The spa has so many things you can do and ways to relax, for free, and you can easily spend hours there. I already said to the hotel personnel, but i am booking soon again since to me, it was 10/10!

Beautiful historic building, wonderful staff, clean and well-maintained rooms, pools and common areas.
Appraisal to the staff at reception, spa, restaurant.
On the negative side - a few small things could be mentioned: for example, some minor amenities in the room that are mandatory for 4-star hotels are missing here; various small quirks in the structure could be fixed easily, but apparently are no priority; breakfast and restaurant are nice and totally OK, but not particularly special (except for the amazing staff and the grandeur interior).
Absolutely recommended to non-capricious guests who can enjoy the historical soul of the building and the nice spa! The hotel is a "must-see" experience by all means!
