Best Western Plus John Bauer Hotel

We stayed here for two nights with our dog and have no complaints. The hotel is modern, nice, and clean, and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The location is central and the rooms were nice and surprisingly well-isolated regarding sound. The breakfast was of high quality and as we needed to leave early, we were supplied with takeaway boxes upon request so that we could take our food with us instead of eating there. The staff also allowed us to bring dessert from the restaurant up to our room—as mentioned, service was very friendly and warm, which we appreciated. Everything worked well during our stay, and I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is my favourite to use when I am staying in Jönköping. All of the staff are super friendly and willing to help if ever its needed. The Breakfast buffet is great with everything you could ask for to choose from. The evening Menu in the restaurant has also a great selection. The rooms are well appointed with all the small extras that you could need. Location is very central with lots of shops located in the streets behind and town just a few minutes walk away. There is also a bus stop directly outside for convenience if you need to travel a little further like for example the Husqvarna Garden arena.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night. The location is excellent, as it’s close to the city centre of Jönköping. The hotel is quite old, so many of the common areas feel a bit rustic. The same goes for the room, although the bathroom and furniture were somewhat more modern. Everything was clean, though we noticed a bit of mould in the shower area. It was a nice surprise to have a fridge in the room. Breakfast was good, with a variety of both hot and cold dishes. Overall, a recommendable place!
