Was unable to arrive at the hotel as planned due to a flight cancellation. I was not offered a full refund despite of showing evidence. Sometimes circumstances are out of our control, however, zero understanding from the hotel management. One should see beyond $$$ sometimes. When our flight got camcelled in the morning, we called the hotel, informed them of the circumstances, and requested that they cancel the booking and provide a refund. Staff member told us that they were happy to offer full refund only if the company that we made the booking with (Agooda) was happy to cancel the booking without penalty. We called Agooda, and they said they were happy to provide a full refund, but the hotel management is stopping them from doing so. We called the hotel again, and the management bluntly refused to offer a full refund and said it was against their policy. They also acknowledged that they had sighted the issue of flight cancellation, however, they were still unable to help because this was against their hotel policy. This was also now contradicting what their staff had told us over the phone. We were already devastated by the cancellation of our flight, and there was zero consideration or understanding of our circumstances because management's eyes were only on making $$$. I wasn't expecting such a below standard approach to this matter from Quest.
