Aspen Suites Hotel Juneau

The booking process was very stressful. I was trying to book directly through the hotel and I kept getting directed to a third party. I’ve had bad experiences with ******* and prefer to book directly with the hotels. The hotels were showing full for July 2nd, apparently due to the holiday. I found the Aspen Suites and booked it for $258. I felt that it was extremely expensive for what seems like a budget hotel. I understand the supply and demand concept but I felt that I was being gouged. When we arrived at the airport I tried calling the hotel to see if they had a shuttle and I couldn’t get through. It was around 8:30 pm (not like it was the middle of the night). We ended up taking a taxi. When I checked in, the lady was not pleasant at all and not very helpful. I signed a paper that stated the rate for the night as. $228 including tax. I asked for a copy and she refused. The next day I spoke to the manager, who was not unpleasant and he explained the process of booking through a third party which I already knew. Obviously, my first impression of Juneau Alaska was not good. The next day I realized that the majority of the people were not friendly. In general they are not tourist friendly at all. First and last time for Juneau and definitely the Aspen Suites hotel!

The hotel was very clean, neat and orderly! Both reservations and check-in were a breeze. Beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen areas were sufficient to take care of our basic needs! Highly recommend this Aspen hotel for anny family or business travelers.

Double charged for room

Came in late and left early for airport so not much time in room but had coffee and was clean and spacious

It was the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. The staff was so pleasant. Our heater went out, they moved us right away, no problem. I recommend it highly. 10 stars if I could.

System down but they managed to help me

Very nice place to stay. The only thing I wish it had a shuttle to the airport.

Beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly. Rooms are clean. Location is convenient to the airport and visiting tourist locations. I recommend saying here and the costs were reasonable. We went to Mendenhall Glacier and was only 10 min drive.

Quiet & off the beaten path, Comfortable if you have transportation. Near airport & right off highway to town. I was able to do my week's laundry easily & efficiently the night I got in. Easy to adjust temperature to fit me. It was raining & I was cold & wet. Slightly odd layout but worked quite well.
