Four Points by Sheraton Juneau

We missed our flight to Seattle to make the cruise ship so the airlines sent us to Juneau to get on at the first stop and this hotel was awesome !! Right by the port and the restaurant and bar was awesome !! Great service , great staff, if I ever fly in to Juneau I’ll b staying there!!

All staffs were very kind and room was clean and perfect. I had a great time in Juneau! Highly recommend here!

Hotel is on the older side but very clean. Not open for breakfast, but they give you a paper bag with a water bottle and some snacks at check in. Juneau is so small that any location is a good one, and I found the bed comfortable. Updated furnishings, tech and a full service restaurant would improve the experience, but I managed just fine. My only real complaint were all the homeless people who stand outside the door and immediately panhandle as soon as you walk outside… not sure if the hotel can fix this or not, just a sign of the times.

I guess my expectations were high for a $300+ per night hotel in a state capital that is also a beautiful tourist destination, but it IS branded as a Four Points, not a Ritz. I will say that the location of the property is good; it's a short walk to downtown coffee shops and a few restaurants, the cruise ship pier, state office buildings, bus terminal, etc. It's right across the street from the water, the parking was free and convenient, and there is a mail box in the covered drive up area in front of the hotel entrance. The employees were nice and the rollaway we requested was in our room and ready when we checked in. As for my disappoin**ents, the heat in our 2nd floor room didn't seem to work well (it was below freezing in January, so I set the thermostat for 76-80, but the actual temperature in the room remained at 71 during our entire stay -- felt like 61; I slept wearing my sweatshirt). The hotel had no private business area for our 0600 conference call, the sports restaurant/bar next to the lobby is apparently not affiliated with the hotel and was not open for breakfast, we did not receive maid service for any of the four days/nights that we were there, and the water in the shower/tub was lukewarm three of the four mornings that we were there. I'm just surprised/sorry that there is not a single property in the Hilton family in the entire area/region to give this "Four Points by Sheraton" (Marriott family) a little competitive spirit so they might up their game a bit.

Check in was pathetic, both check in agent were rude non cooperative, hotels had lots of room available asked them to put all 7 rooms at one floor, I will never book the hotel again. No one was there to take luggage or help for anything. Service was really pathetic.

I loved the fresh coffee that was available every morning in the lobby., that the bus station was next door, and that there were a dozen bars, shops, restaurants, trailheads, and activities within walking distance. The window views and staff were nice. My only small complaint might be that a small continental breakfast would’ve been great. There are few breakfast places that open before nine in Downtown Juneau.

Rude service at the front desk. Room is old and doesn’t have AC so was very stuffy for those rare warm days.

Facilities were acceptable. Personnel were not very helpful especially the concierge. Good location. At least offer pastries. When we finally noticed the coffee pot it was empty.
