The Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki in conjunction with the Jyvaskyla Paviljonki Congress Centre is Finlands first ever city centre congress and exhibition hotel. The hotel features a choice of spacious rooms - a wonderfully relaxing sauna area - extensive parking facilities at the adjoining car park and fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities. All rooms and public areas are smoke free and rooms on the upper floors enjoy stunning open views across to Lake Jyvasjarvi. All Suites and some of the Superior rooms are complete with en suite saunas. The hotels atmospheric restaurant is inspired by the Italian kitchen and complete with a wood fired pizza oven and a fantastic outdoor seating area where visitors are ideally place to take in the hustle and bustle of the Paviljonki Square and Jyvaskyla Harbour beyond. The hotel also has a private hire restaurant which caters for groups and can be hired for a wide variety of events.

Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. There was wear and tear in the hotel, and the value for money was not there (200+ eur per room). Breakfast times are extremely crowded. Special coffee costs extra..

The hotel is located within a short walk from the city center. If the rooms weren't already quite worn and some issues with housekeeping (that were mostly solved by the staff), I would rate this 4. The breakfast was very good, appreciated the relaxed and non-crowded feel at the breakfast, probably due to long opening hours. The service everywhere in the hotel very good, but especially at breakfast.

We stayed here from on a weekend trip to Jyväskylä. Dont have anything bad to comment ☺️ Staff was really! friendly, room was big and clean, parking was good, breakfast ok, and location was close to city centre at the harbour. If I had to change one thing - I would change pillows but all else was as expected

Rooms are nice, clean and with a view over the lakeside, but you also get two unwanted bonuses: multi-story garage and weekend noise. On the square, local musicians blast and shout till midnight. Not recommended during the warmer months of the year.
