Wij mochten hier verblijven na een reis door Nieuw-Zeeland. We zochten even een moment van rust en bezinning na een bijzondere reis. Deze accommodatie hadden we uitgekozen waarbij we overweldigd werden door de omgeving. Er is gewoon niets dan natuur en rust, waarbij deze kleine maar vriendelijke en mooie omgeving bij ons binnen is gekomen. Een net verblijf waar de jacuzzi heerlijk op temperatuur voor je klaar staat en de sterrenhemel in de avond wonderbaarlijk mooi is. Op korte afstand een kleine supermarkt en heerlijk dorpjes in de omgeving. Met een compliment voor de beheerster die voor heel veel zaken voor je klaar staat, al met al een fijne locatie.

My wife and I decided to stay at the Coastal Chalets because of its remoteness and proximity to the far north. We found the place beautifully maintained, with a lot of privacy, quiet and beautiful scenery. We were in Suite C. It was spacious with a luxurious shower, full kitchen, bbq, spa pool and other amenities. We found it was a perfect spot for a romantic get-away.
They're also a stone's throw to some truly excellent Indian food ("Spice Grill" in nearby Kaeo). Great place for dinner if you don't feel like cooking.
We also found the manager was very responsive to the couple of questions we had. Highly recommended!

We arrived in a hot sunny week. This property had been closed all week and had heated up to sauna level. The ancient cooling fan provided in the main bedroom was not up to the job and was very loud and inefficient. This led to poor sleep in unbearably hot bedrooms and an unusable sitting room. The owner needs to care more about the comfort of guests than charging an exorbitant rental for a 'luxury' property. Avoid this rental.
