역사가 있는 호텔입니다. 즉, 오래됨.
처음 방에 들어섰을때는 다소 냄새가 나지만 직접 창문을 열어 환기가 가능합니다.
시내 위치한 호텔에 주차가 무료라는점이 아주 매력적이고, 손님이 많지 않아 대욕장을 전세낼 수 있었습니다. 사우나는 운영하지 않았습니다.
꼭대기층에 위치한 대욕장 뷰도 나름 괜찮습니다.
온천수질이 아주 좋습니다.

照国神社の大鳥居の真横。天文館通りにも十分徒歩圏内です。 ホテル自体は昭和後期か平成初期の趣があり、老朽化がいたるところ目につきます。 エレベーターも2基ありますが、小さいため大人数では利用できません。 ただ、部屋がリニューアルしてある様子で、廊下やフロント周りに比べると、明るく清潔感があると思いました。 部屋のバスルームはさほど広くはありませんが、このタイプのホテルには珍しく、結構広い大浴場があるため、問題はありません。その代わり入湯税が必要ですが。 朝食はセットメニューですが、ものすごい品数が出ます。

照国神社の真ん前にあり 周辺には鶴丸城跡・城山・博物館などが乱立しています。 たいへん静かで歴史好きにはたまらない立地です。西郷像なども沢山周りにあります。ホテルは設備は古いですが 宿泊した8階からは桜島が真正面に見え大浴場も同じ階で大変便利です。夕食は天文館の居酒屋で食べましたが 徒歩で7～8分も行けます。
